These work great. I have a lot of silty clay that makes its way through the pump and gets caught up in these filters. Water comes out clean and the filters turn a serious orange and brown color. Great price too!

Exactly what I ordered, fit great

When we moved into our residence 5 years ago, the previous owner had a whole house filter installed. Being that we are in the country and on a well, it was imperative that we keep tabs on it's status and change the filters regularly. The filter was a Whirlpool canister, which takes a WHKF-GD25BB replacement filter. We picked one up at our local big box home improvement store and were good to go. A few months later, I went back to get another filter only to find that the store no longer carried the product. So I did a bit of research and searching on Amazon to find these filters which are an exact replacement (and much less expensive).I change them about every quarter and the only problem I have had with them is that the rubber grommets at the top and bottom of the filter sometimes stay in the filter housing (especially the top) when changing them. The OEM filters had an adhesive on them, so that wasn't an issue. Other than leaking a bit of water and some head-scratching time trying to figure out why the canister wouldn't seal, I've had no problems. I now have a little note on the canister that says "check for O-rings."

I tried these because I have the water drop reverse osmosis filtration system in another home and loved it. These filters with great in my home with a private well!

These are the most common size for home water filters and come with a gasket for a nice tight seal. Always look for the 3-pack for its cheaper in the long run.
