Hand Forged Razor Sharp 41" Black Samurai Katana Sword - Hand Painted High Gloss Black Scabbard

Very well crafted and beautiful sword for the price! It would be nice to own an authentic Japanese made katana but then again I don't have $3,000 for one either lol. But I would have to say for being made in China it is well built, everything on the sword is nice, tight, and well fitted, nothing is loose at all. I also like the painting on the saya. I wanted to get a katana that was made of carbon steel rather than a cheap stainless steel sword. Not sure if this is really hand forged or machine made though. The sword is not razor sharp but is decent. For $53 this is a damn well crafted and good looking sword if you don't want to break your budget. Great for training or decoration. This is no toy though...! Always respect any weapon and utilize safety and responsible measures at all times.

For the money, this sword is really nice. I got mine and immediately took it apart, replaced the handguard and wrap just for fun. It is sharpened and polished very neatly, I am super impressed. If I take it out and chop some branches, and it breaks, I will be back to change my review... But for now this sword seems awesome.

Well made, Sturdy Katana. For the price, this is a great choice, I would say this is more of a display than anything. Not the sharpest thing around but not dull by any means.

Good for the price! One star reduced because of the construction of the handle. The sharp unpolished wooden bolts on the handle are pinching while holding the sword

Bought this for my son for Christmas. Big knife and gun man! Checked it out when it came in the mail. The ad says 41 inches over all, but you don’t realize how long that is until you lay it across a double bed and it comes within a foot of reaching the other side! Is very well made and my son will love the hand painted cranes on the scabbard. And is truly razor sharp!

2nd training sword I've bought from makoto. This is a very well made TRAINING SWORD. It is decently sharp but don't expect a folded steel blade with clay tempered Hamon. This thing is made of like 1045 steel and the hamon is done mechanically. But it is buy no means a toy. Its sturdy and well made. I bought one a year ago to begin iaido training and I've put it through the ringer. It has held up so well that I bought this one so my brother could begin learning with me. You get what you pay for and for this price you are getting a deal. I have no doubt that these swords can take off a hand right out of the box if you've hade some practice.

This sword is bad*ss no doubt about it. It feels like the price and very hefty. Although i doubt it could slice through most things its still a great looking peice.
