Paderno World Cuisine 2-Inch Diameter Aluminum Ice-Dipper  I would never buy this product again. It looks very nice, but must be hand washed. I didn't know that. The dipper/scoop does have "CAUTION:DO NOT PLACE IN BOILING WATER OR SUBJECT TO HEAT IN EXCESS OF 140F (60C)". I figured that since I had no plans to boil it and my hot water temperature is 110F, there would be no problem. WRONG!!! I placed it in the dishwasher with the rest of my everyday dishware/flatware and then ran the wash cycle. My Paderno World Cuisine 2-Inch Diameter Aluminum Ice-Dipper no longer resembles the original. It now looks like an old piece of junk. I will not use it... I wouldn't even give it away. It is definitely NOT (as it claims) "professional quality". Amazon or the manufacturer should have been more specific on the cleaning of this item. (Sold by: Amazon.com LLC.)

I love this thing even with ice cream that is frozen hard as a rock this thing cuts right through it. It melts its way through like a hot knife through butter using the body heat from my hand. However I dont even notice the handle doesnt even get cold. What more could I ask for?
