A jolly nice device, useful too!
Five stars but only for the 1st day of use. This is a lovely little (ehm.. 40 pounds!) thing that is intuitive and easy to use, quite pleasing to the eye, and perfect for a more than casual user but probably less so for a person whose lack of mobility welds the operator to the "vehicle" for very long periods. I suffer of a massively debilitating postural instability of an entirely unknown etiology (at least that much did the sage quacks and me - a has been demi-competrnt quack could figure out) which prevents me from walking more than 25 yards without a spectacular fall. In short, I feel like a completely handcarted sailor fighting the bronco-like deck of a small ship in the middle of a North Atlantic winter gale off Island. Awkward, really. And totally preventing me from e. g., accompanying my wife to a concert, a shopping spree or, worst of all, a simple walk in the park. Of course, I can use a stick but...etc. Cripplers like me will understand the damnable nature of these limitations. Thus, THE SCOOTER: It is relatively light, fits in the trunk of an average sedan, has a long-lasting lithium battery, and is quite comfortable even for a 240 pounds lad. It rolls nicely and is stable on a cracked a uneven pavement albeit its turning radius is too large for twist-and-turn maneuvering. It is quiet too, so that the diver is not deafened by the whine of the labouring motor. Altogether then, for solving the dilemma of frequent but not permanent long-range mobility, the scooter is almost ideal. For the price - it is absolutely ideal. The only two drawbacks are the slightly cramped exit/entry quarters - either procedure demands development of a personal set of contortions. Once perfected, the rest is very simple. The second defficiency is the lack of a simple assembly manual showing, IKEA-style, what screws (there are a few) to put where and in what order. Without such manual the assembly can be a little frustrating. Two pieces of advice: 1). do NOT drive it at full speed unless you are an expert at handling the machine. You are bound to crash and you will end up quite badly dented. Common sense rules here, and blaming the manufacturer for your own stupidity is, mildly speaking, outlandish. 2) If you intend to store or charge the scooter outdoors (I do) get a high quality protective tarpaulin (I did) that will protect the it from weather damage. In summary : a very nice purchase and so far, so good. Am casting off now, slow ahead, and see you later with more impressions....

Need instructions
Do NOT buy this product unless you have good mechanical engineering experience. It has a bunch of loose parts and NO ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS. I sent it right back. Also, it seems much heavier than advertised.

Love Love Love this Electric Scooter!
This is a great product, however, you need to understand what you will be using it for after you receive it. It works extremely well on smooth surfaces, i.e., navigating a large cruise ship. It is very light weight and easy to get in and out of an SUV. Love the fold down feature, which allows easy storage. I can walk with a cane for short distances, so this allows me to get around easily in larger spaces and participate in activities with my kids and grandkids. Love it!

Terrible quality.
This scooter is light weight, folds up nicely, and looks good. However , I have had it for 4 months and it has never worked. I contacted ENGWE's customer service 2 or 3 times and none of their suggestions worked. Since this company has no dealers or authorized repair shops in Minnesota, I took the scooter to Skrrrt, a repair company in St. Paul. They said the axel driving the wheels was broken and ENGWE doesn't have a replacement. A local machine shop is making a replacement for around $200. I will end up spending around $350 to get a working scooter. The new warranty from ENGWE is only 30 days. ENGWE has recently agreed to pay all of the costs to repair my scooter. ENGWE'S customer service has been very good.

No instructions? No worries.
So far so good. No instructions in the box, but the internet came through with a search on the name. It was easy enough to put together by this not-very-handy grandma. All necessary tools were included. Required a little bit of lifting to maneuver onto is side and to unpack, but manageable. Seems sturdy and all parts fit together well. I haven't gone far yet, but a theme park day is coming up. I'll followup afterwards.

She is pleased!
I purchased this for my mother. She was pleasantly surprised. She has found the the compact size and lightweight frame are perfect for her environment. The ease of setup , stability , and easy to charge are exceptional. Runs effortlessly and maneuvers through her home easily. The dual batteries are such a plus. They carry a charge for quite awhile and give her a new reason to go back out in the world. I had not written a review until now and having a chance to get her opinion. I do give this product a five star review.
