I am a Hisense believer now!
Super clear picture and sound is better than my Samsung was, so no additional sound equipment. So one month later and I have not mastered settings but will soon sit down on you tube to set everything. Mean time a really bright colorful screen and software seems to be really good, Remote cast works remarkably better than my old Samsung also. So far I am satisfied for the money this seems like the best deal for a tv in 55-65 range. UPDATE" - After a few months it seems ok but Amazon prime software seems bad and I have to use firestick to watch Prime. There is no uninstall just update but still no go, reset tv and nothing worked. Not sure but power off router and tv for ten minutes and nothing. Anyway everything else is really good so I am happy.

Hisense keeps surprising me
I have been a TV nerd for a while, owned flagship models from, Vizio, LG, Samsung, Sony. This is my 2nd time buying hisense, as I was very happy with my U8N. Dare I say I am impressed again. Performance is upgraded, software is more refined, no annoying bugs so far. Gsync works great, CEC switches inputs like magic without hiccups. Not much to ask so far but you would be surprised how many manufactures don't get the simple things right. The one I received has a perfect panel, 0 defects, no dead pixel, no uneven backlighting, screen looks uniform. I don't think you would be disappointed by the picture quality either, deep contrast vibrant colors, and it can get eye searingly bright. After having 5 different WOLEDs I learned my lesson not to buy another, they are fragile I keep getting dead pixels everywhere. with this mini LED TV you never have to worry about burn it , watch it or leave it on in the background to your hearts content. Connectivity wise, you get 3x HDMI 2.1 this year, if you have a more recent modern AV receiver, you could use the EARC port as a switch. If you use a PC, it even has a USB-C input that can take video signal 4K 165 HZ. I know! no one else does this. Got my on sale for 1k, a bit more expensive while on sale than last years model but I still think it's worth it.

Excellent choice
We are very happy with this purchase. The delivery was fast, the setup was a breeze and the picture was crisp. Everything works so well and easy. It came with ton of free channels and sound effect is excellent.

Worth every penny!
Been a Vizio user for the last fifteen years. This Hisense tv is the nicest tv I have ever owned. Built in atmos sound pairs with my Hisense soundbar for “high concerto mode” Dolby vision is amazing. After having jittery Vizio tvs, this one is buttery smooth. Even surprised with the next gen ota support over an antenna. Over 80 channels in Atlanta. Also, the guys who came to unbox and set the tv up were awesome. Worth the money. Super pleased.

Picture quality is great, sound is exceptional and set up is easy.
Great TV for a great price. Never ordered a TV from Amazon before so I was surprised when it arrived and working. Picture quality is great, sound is exceptional and set up is easy. Google does it right and Hisense seems to as well. Went from Samsung to this and I am happy with the switch. Oh and the remote is great and high quality.

Outstanding!!!!!
Outstanding picture and sound. Excellent for viewing sports which I view mostly. Lots of options to customize picture and sound or used multiple default options. This is my 2nd Hisense. Have purchased Sonys, Samsung, Phillips, Amazon Fire and Hisense TVs. This current Hisense rocks the house. Other family members have now aldi purchased Hisense model.

Hisense Surprised Me
I haven't purchased a TV in a long time, so I had to research everything... smart TVs, current technology, best screen size for my space. And all of my research led to this Hisense 65" Mini-LED. I usually go for high-end brands with electronics and more expensive purchases. I have been ignoring the Hisense brand for months while I've been thinking about getting a new TV. If you have doubts about Hisense, hear me out. My priorities were: - TV with built-in Google Home - the best technology for viewing in bright light My TV habits are: - streaming TV movies or series - not the dark room, cinematic experience - viewing from centered sofa - viewing from kitchen island (sharp viewing angle) There are only a few TV brands with Google Home built in. So my requirements led me over and over to those 3 brands, one of which was Hisense. I was not really open to this brand at first. However, my living room gets a lot of natural light, and I usually watch TV during daylight hours, so I needed a bright screen that can compete with the bright room. I learned that Mini-LED is the best for my lighting conditions. The Hisense U8 checked this box as well. So with those things in mind and the positive reviews, I decided to take a chance on this TV. First of all, U8 looks beautiful even when it's off. The TV is not dark, shiny, "plasticky" black. It's more of a matte black that almost looks deep gray. Also, in the photos, I didn't love the centered stand. I thought it looked chunky, and I prefer the cleaner look of "feet" on each end vs a single pedestal in the center. I almost bought a different TV *just* because of the stand. I'm so glad I didn't because in person, the stand looks GREAT. Setup was fast and simple. I had everything complete in under 15 minutes. Functionally, it's very intuitive to navigate apps via the included remote, which also supports voice input. Settings are easy to configure. I experimented with the Picture settings to match my preferences. This TV is truly bright, even in my bright room. But the colors look realistic, not oversaturated or cartoonish. The sound quality is excellent even without a sound bar or external speakers. I was able to easily connect this TV to my network, my Google account, and quickly paired my Bose headphones via Bluetooth. The only thing I didn't like was the protective tape around the edges of the screen. At each corner, if you're not careful during removal, the tape tears so that some of it is left in the groove between the bezel and the screen. It is impossible to get it out of the groove once it tears. I appreciate the solid packaging, but once it tears you are stuck with a small piece of tape sticking out of your beautiful TV. Other than that, I couldn't be happier and hope this helps someone else trust a brand you may not have considered before.

Stunning picture quality, but poor interface and audio quality
I had a Samsung QLED UHD TV but the picture was too dark during the daytime so I got this TV because of its feature of being bright during the day and having an anti-glare screen. It's the same price point and size as my Samsung TV (65inch). All-in-all the image quality blows the Samsung out of the water. The anti glare screen is great and the image is colorful without being oversaturated or washed out. In terms of sound though...it's a huge disappointment. The built in speakers sound like a tin can no matter how much I tinker with the settings. I got them to finally sound decent, but still they are not good. I mostly use the built in speakers for when my daughter watches her kid shows, but I use surround sound speakers for movies and my shows. For some reason though the audio on the Hisense is muddled. Specifically on HBO Max and Apple TV the voices sound so distant, even with all the voice enhancing features enabled. Yet last night I tried out the same shows + the same speakers on my Samsung TV and the voices sound clear as day without the need to enable anything else. I came to realize that the apps on the Hisense Google TV simply are not that great in general, some not even being able to open, to constant crashing, to the audio being muddled and 'bad' for lack of a better term. I've had to resort to using my Roku to watch anything on the Hisense TV since the built in Hisense TV apps are complete trash. I'm not a fan of its Google integration and hope they can get the apps to be configured better. Fandango At Home rarely opens, when it does it crashes after about an hour or less. HBO sounds terrible. Apple TV also sounds terrible... So if you're getting this TV just for the image quality then you'll be happy. But the big question is: Will the inability for apps to run properly on this TV smoothly annoy me sooner rather than later? Will I just end up buying a different TV that doesn't have Google integrated in it? Maybe. But we'll see if I can get by with the Roku replacing the Google interface.
