If I could, I would give this tent 20 stars! It is very well made, comfortable sleeping, very roomy, fit our van perfectly, easy to put up and amazingly water resistant. We took it on its maiden voyage this weekend - no rain was predicted, but true to Michigan - it did anyway - torrential rain at 4:30 am. Shockingly the only water that came in was from the channels that run from front to back on the roof of the van and then ran down the inside of the doorframe to the bumper. Our son was in the tent portion and stayed completely dry. Not even any leaking through the sleeve. My only suggestion is that all 4 sides would have a door giving an option to enter on each side since there was a tree right outside so we weren’t able to fully extend the overhang of the rain fly. This was not a deal breaker since we went in and out through the screen porch. Next time we’ll flip the fly to protect the window for when it rains.Attaching was pretty easy, once we studied how it was supposed to work - the instructions weren’t the best, but we were able to figure it out easily. Photos show how it worked for us.

I have a 2018 Jeep grand cherokee. It worked great for my 2 day camping trip that included myself and 3 others. It seems to have held up well.I really like the screen room and we used it as a entry to the tent to cut down on bugs coming in. The awning/rain cover is pretty flimsy but seems to do the job.I would have liked more pockets around the walls.It sealed around the opened back hatch of my jeep really well!Set up only takes like 20 minutes and teardown is easy!I even had other campers walk by and comment on this tent.... even asked if the could take a pic to send to their kid.

The tent wasn't too difficult to set up with 2 people. It only took about 20 minutes to get the main part of the tent up and another 10 to attach the part that covers the hatch. I like that it can be a stand alone tent, as my SUV was needed for other camping activities. I also really like the screened off entry for shoes and supplies you don't need in the tent but want close by and covered. My one issue with the tent, and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5, is that the part that covers the hatch of the SUV cannot close tightly so bugs and wind can get in. The wind causes that part of the tent to flap incessantly, which makes sleeping for a light sleeper difficult. Overall, it's a great concept. I would just prefer some way to make that part of the tent more air tight.

Overall a great value. The set up absolutely takes 2 adults!! And it requires a sense of humor. (:Double check your dimensions to make sure you have enough room. This tent is large! Very roomy and pleasant to use once you’ve got everything up.It might be a good idea to do a practice run with setting up this tent before you truly need to use it!!Not waterproof! You can see daylight through the cracks of the seams. Luckily it didn’t rain so we didn’t even bother with the rain fly. Can’t attest to that.I noticed that the zippers did catch just a bit. So, just take care and your gear will last a long time.There are not enough hooks or straps for hanging anything inside the tent. There is one hook in the ceiling and that’s it. Makes hanging fairy lights tricky. But there are ways to get creative. I will upload a photo next time we camp.2 adults are also required to pack this tent away!I am excited to use this tent again!Don’t forget something to cover your vehicles windows and windshield when you car camp!

worked great , easy to set up and tear down and put away. It rained hard and never once leaked. Loved the screened in porch . I would recommend putting a large enough tarp under the whole tent that extends to the edge of the screened porch to keep dirt out of the tent portion. zippers worked well but must be careful not to go to fast that it catches the side .

This tent came with instructions! Amazing! Even more amazing, it came with a flap for an A/C duct that they didn't advertise in the description. It was easy to put up with two people, fit completely around the tailgate and cap's glass door. We put it up in "feels like 99 degrees" weather, and it was very warm inside with no breeze blowing. The tent area itself is spacious inside, and though I don't have a photo with the cover on it, the cover was easy enough with two people. We didn't stake it down since it was just a dry fit this time, but the stakes that come with it were much better than you usually get. I highly recommend this tent so far, and since the quality is so good I don't expect that to change.

Easy to put up the tent. Lots of room inside. Love the two-room setup. Difficult to open/close the hatchback door to our Y Model Tesla once tent is attached. The tent kept getting stuck. We would help it clear the door as it would open or close. Managed to rip a little on one of the closings though.

The tent is great. Roomy inside and the screened in vestibule is perfect.It is not easy to put up and as instructions say, it needs two people to do it. Therfore, it is of no use to me when I camp alone. Which I often do.
