I wanted some air "movement" in my kitchen. I searched on line, including Amazon, for pricing, quality and good reviews. I liked the price and good reviews on this fan light so I thought I would try one. It worked so well, I ordered a 2nd one as well! I also liked that it had 5 blades instead of the 4 blades on others I've seen. As far as it's quick and easy to install, the air flow is great!! I was pleasantly surprised and thats why I ordered a 2nd one the next day! The upside is, ease of the size, air flow for cooling, really bright light on high setting and easy to switch the light bulb to the fan. Now 1st . . . The downside for me (not necessarily for anyone else!), I have approx. 6 pot lights in my kitchen ceiling so it doesn't enable me to just use the fan and keep just the two fans on so when turning off the lights the fans go off too! It would be nice to use just the fans at night but I don't want/need all 6 lights on too. When I turn all the lights on in the kitchen again, the fan lights come on but not the fan blades so I have to use the remote for the fans. 2nd . . . Since both fans are in the kitchen, I thought I could use one remote for both lights/fan but, evidently, it doesn't work that way so I have do use both remotes . . . One for each fan. Overall, I love them and would highly recommend these socket fans!

I am very glad to have this fan light, which has multiple functions. I use it in my home office. It looks modern and appealing. Even though I use central A/C in my house, the small fan is a big plus, bringing a nice breeze as I work, making me feel closer to nature. The fan is also quiet. The light is easy to adjust in terms of brightness and temperature. It can be tuned from very bright to dim. I am especially pleased with the warm light option. It is very convenient and good for reducing eye strain to change the brightness and temperature based on my needs while sitting at my desk. This fan light is a great update to my home office. I really like this cool light and highly recommend it. If you have a usual socket in your room, just put it on. My room has an old socket that didn't fit this fan light, so I used the socket extender included with the fan light. It was easy to install as I followed the instruction video on YouTube. There are so many such videos on YouTube.

If you get this for summer, it’s as easy as screwing it in the socket. the fan spins the same way of the socket’s grooves and keeps it in. The airflow is great and helps keep my apartment cooler. It’s silent and the plastic makes it easy to clean. Good size for a small apartment. And, of course, it’s cute. However, if you want it for winter, you have to install the socket it came with (means messing with the wires and circuit breaker and electricity). Without doing so and putting it in reverse could possibly cause the fan to unscrew but since it’s not winter I have not tried it. To do so requires tools. Now I was sold on the No Tools/No Wiring that they had on the pictures and only glimpsed over the written information that does state you’ll have to install the socket to run it in reverse. I’m very mechanically challenged when it comes to these things. It doesn’t help that the instructions cover the barest information (I like to ask why). There are extra screws with no instructions as to where they go. This may be a steal but if you don’t know an electrician or someone who has installed light sockets before or are adventurous (and able) to install on your own, it might not be worth it. I didn’t see much of a difference between fan speed levels except between one and six. Very gradual. The light is amazing and gives a lot of variability. Super bright to fairly muted. Works to cover most lighting needs. I’m at a loss as to where to leave the remote where it would be the most convenient however the remote itself is convenient.

This socket fan light surprised me in the best way. It screws in just like a regular bulb, but suddenly you’ve got light and a fan without any wiring drama. The remote makes it super convenient, the fan is stronger than it looks, and the light is bright without being harsh. Perfect for bedrooms, kitchens, or anywhere you need airflow fast. Totally worth it.

The Blades for this fan are just 5.25", contrary to what the product image implies. This is basically a small, middling quality table-top fan you screw into a light bulb socket. I didn't expect a full size ceiling fan, but was still disappointed seeing the actual item. I can see why it's a frequently returned item, even at 20 bux. Phone app took a bit to set up. Remote works fine. Fan does not more a lot of air, but enough if in a small space. Good brightness and light quality control. Ok for the price, if you're ok with quality.
