Good read very informative

I love this book! A true eye opener about all the 'smoke and mirrors' of the cosmetics industry. I had so many aha moments reading the book (e.g. realising that my C serum was doing all the heavy lifting of my routine and not my 'exotic' snail cream), not to mention it helped me pick products to buy once the ones I have will finish. I even ended buying one for my mum as well. Best buy ever!

I am studying skincare and this book is an absolute must for anyone interested in understanding skin and skincare products. Also fab for anyone interested in knowing more about what is in our skincare products. What works, what doesn't. So easy to understand. Very well presented. I bought it on kindle and was so impressed i bought the hardback.

If you want clear, concise, scientifically backed information on skincare, this is the book for you. I run a small beauty development team - gifted a book each to my team and our interns and the response has been amazing.For me, the detail shared is balanced perfectly, and for my team, its a trusted reference point to either confirm or help them with evaluations for new products.Would totally recommend.

I am just starting my career as a cosmetic scientist so bought this book to give me a bit of background on the skincare topic and to understand different points of view. The way this book is written is so informative without going over board. I could not recommend this more and neither could my skin!

Super fun and informative! Victoria and Gloria definitely know about what they are talking and they decode alL the chemistry and evidence based info that sounds too complicated and complex for us to understand. They make sikincare simple and fun. A must read, 100%! Love love love!

Purchased this as a present for my wife, she says its the best book on skincare that she has read and she has read quite a few. A Good Book

I have started to read it last night but it looks like the book has been scanned rather than put in correct setting. You can't change the size of font, letters are so small and grey, it is painful to read. Shocking.
