In the past I've used Gu gels and they were always too thick and would give me stomach cramps and the taste would linger in my mouth. I bought these because they advertised it being easier to digest and are less viscous than others. These claims are actually true! I haven't had any stomach issues and they actually taste good. The consistency is a little weird but that doesn't matter because you just swallow it.

I've had a really hard time with stomach issues, gas, and nausea with a lot of the gel products that are out there. Many of the gels are overly sweet and take a lot of water to get them down, just to make you feel bloated afterward. I switched to using these and its a complete game changer. The taste may not be as great as some of the competing gels, but the ease of consumption and results far outweigh any issues there. I used these for ultra-marathon distance runs, so have to carry a few to make it through a run. The larger size of the pack, especially when you are packing 4 or more of them, is another slight inconvenience compared to regular gel products.

Works well loaded with energy and easy to get down. Taste is just ok but not bad. I like that I do not have to drink additional water when I eat on of these on a bike ride

So overall this product does what it's supposed to do. My advice would be to try one before you go out and ride because I made the mistake of trying it for the first time while out cycling. The taste is terrible for sure, but maybe you have to get used to it. The second one I had was not so bad. The caffeine kick was unreal, though.

What sticks out is the flavor of the citrus. It may have previously been called “lemon-like battery acid.” But in all honesty, by the time I finished the box, I was kinda used to it. Anyway, flavor was secondary to the product working and it does deliver there.Always bought mango before. Think I’m going back. Sorry lemon-like battery acid - I mean citrus.

Taste delicious , almost instant muscle relief

Prefer SIS gels because they are not as thick as most and easier for me to tolerate in warm conditions. That said, the taste of these are NOT GOOD. I have ordered cases of the orange and lemon-lime for many years. The chocolate caffeine are gross.

I have used these gels for years. Unfortunately when I needed them they are extremely lumpy. I looked up and found that these are expired. Also there's no way to return them so I'm screwed out of the money. I guess you take a chance and hope that when you purchase something edible it's not expired. I've never had this problem before.
