Pleased with how this made my hair return to a baby curl-like state again. I usually wear my afro picked out but after using the sponge I like the style pop it adds.

This item was recommended to me by a friend. It worked so beautifully on him, but did not work on my hair type. All African American hair is not the same. I will try it again though. You must be consistent when using the circular motions all over your head. It's just that my hair is wavy and kinky and straight, but no curly hair it seems. Good luck though, it works if you have the right hair type.

The item pictures is not the one that came. There are holes on both sides of this brunch. The reason I picked this one is because it didn’t have holes on the waves side.

I have very curly (coil) hair and it’s short so I thought this would work. Doesnt work on fine coil hair. It’s took the curls away and flatten my hair.

Did the job.smaller than expected but still a cormftable size to deal with my hair
