Great Puncture Protection Tire
Great tire, just as described. I totally recommend this tire and I also recommend to also look at the Continental Website for more info on this tire.I commute to work 14miles a day in the downtown area, lots of mainly pavement and some sidewalks with broken beer bottles glass. I ride a hybrid dual sport Cannondale, this bike comes stock with some knobby tires. I had multiple flats so I had to result to thorn resistant tubes and Mr.Tuffy's rim tapes, adding these two protection factors kept me safe on the road and I had zero flats afterwards. Now, wanting to improve my rolling resistant I began to search for new tires that are more street without knobs. I chose these Conti's Contact Plus because it gives me the a lot of protection from possible flats. My goal is to run regular tubes with these Conti's and not have any flats. The million dollar question, does this provide provide the same, less than, greater than, protection as my previous setup? I think so, I'm not 100% positive but I'm kind of leaning on that this tire is greater than thorn tubes and rim tape, because 1 this tire weight more than my previous tire, plus thorn tubes, plus rim tape. 2, the description on what it is made up of convinces me that it is. 3, I did a pressure test (simply pressing my finger nail to see which is tougher. The Conti's seem tougher on the tread and 100% tougher on the side walls. My first ride was on a heavy rainy down pour and these tires did great. No slipping, complete traction. My favorite part was the water channeling. My previous knobby tires in the rain, the front tire would splash up rain and get me wet on my hands and chest, and my backpack would have brown muddy streaks. These Conti's push out water forward and low, zero splashing water from the front wheel or back wheel. They look good, they feel good, the rolling resistance is better as I improved my arrival time, and I really like the safety pin stripe around the wheel. It's really bright when light hits it.One last thing for sizing, reference the size tire by the ETRTO measurement and you won't go wrong.

Great rolling resistance and Puncture protection
These are great tires. I was riding some 20 year old slick centered (not bald) Bontrager MTB tires prior to these, and was getting flats once per week. The difference is night and day. I've already ridden about 40 miles over suspect roads, broken glass, paved bike trails, etc, and no problem. I've also gained 1 mph in average speed and gone up one gear on my commute because they roll much easier. It's like my bike has been set free! Like I've been riding with a brake pad dragging my whole life, and suddenly riding is so easy!

Fantastic tire just be careful ordering the right size
Edited 5/15-I was so impressed with the tire after several miles of biking I ordered another yesterday. Also forgot to mention the first came in a proper box, large and the tire was cradled perfectly.I recently bought a project bike and have been tearing it down piece by piece and rebuilding it. It's a good condition road bike but I replaced the brakes, brake levers, cables, seat and handlebars to make it more trail friendly. The back tire was cracking on the sidewalls so the search began for a more rugged tire that would be smooth on the street and capable on trails. Having used Continental tires on cars before I settled on this one. The reviews all over the internet are very positive but a good percentage discuss the tires run small compared to other brands. I'm glad I listened as my bike uses 700-28 and didn't want the sizing to be an issue. I ordered the 700-32 and hot damn, they're perfect. The tires are a touch heavier than I'm used to but with the puncture resistance that's to be expected I guess. They look great, handle the rough stuff well, have fantastic grip on pavement and I've found their sweet spot to be 80# of pressure. An added bonus is they look fantastic, the reflective sidewall is awesome at night. These outperform tires that cost significantly more so buy with confidence that you made a solid purchase with some $$$ left over.

MAGIC TIRES
Good golly miss Molly, I can’t express how pleased and surprised I am with the performance of these tires, especially considering the price. I wanted a more pavement friendly tire for my Surly Straggler, but still gravel capable, to replace my knobby Smart Sams. They roll smooth and quiet and grip remarkably well on pavement and gravel. I can corner on streets at an impressive speed and feel totally confident with the grip. On dirt surfaces they roll and grip well, and I can drift the rear easy, but the second I let go of the rear brake, they immediately grab the trail again. And they’re incredibly supple, especially through the slightly curved fork of my bike. They eliminate the harshness of bumps and holes, and have been very comfortable on longer 50+ mile rides as a result. The performance and handling I am getting out of the tires just DOESN’T MAKE SENSE, especially with the under $30 price. The only downside is that they’re heavy, some of the heaviest I’ve ever owned, so they accelerate slowly but have wonderful momentum once you’re at speed. Very strongly recommended.
