THE LEGO NINJAGO MOVIE NINJAGO City Docks 70657 Building Kit (3553 Pieces)

Lego makes so many awesome things. My favorite themes from Lego include: City, Creator, Star Wars and of course NINJAGO! The bigger the set the more I love it because there are always so many great details! This set is definitely one of the big ones because it has 3,553 pieces and it's PACKED with details. I love that each room and building has their own unique purposes. There's a traditional Chinese medicine/tea shop, a travelers office, arcade, collectibles/comic book store, a sculptor's studio, a restaurant/fruit stand, and an apartment with a really neat bunk bed! Then of course there are the docks, the tunnel to Ninjago City, and tons of play potential! It comes with a ton of minifigures as well! Act out your own scenes inspired by the movie and TV show. Have fun with this build that has 19 sets of bags! Definitely would make an amazing gift idea! :D

Already have ninjago city and added this for Christmas. Another great set, satisfying to watch my son build and pleasure to see it developing. Been a while since he was this engrossed with LEGO building, but these sets are really nice, not too big, not too small, aesthetically pleasing, just good fun, worth it to pry him away from video gaming...

Love the complexity and imaginative structure. Only downside is one piece missing.

Epic set, must have to go with the Ninjao City to finish the Ninjago Movie scenes. This will require a few days to build, but is worth the effort for kids over 8 years old.

Well, basically, if you have Ninjago City-- which is fantastic for people into the Creator Expert Modulars-- you need this to really complete it. (Ok, you also need Destiny's Bounty). Not as big, not as cool, not as intriguing as Ninjago City, so only 4 stars. Plus, it was missing a brick, but it is behind the ladder and not so noticeable. Doubt I'll ask Lego for a replacement, but they are very good about such things. I do hope they come out with more like these.

One of the best legonsets to date. Was fun to build and looks fantastic on display.

My 11 year old son love this set. It has so much detailed that it kept him busy for a couple of days. The fun part of this set is that it has a lot of variety of pieces and colors, so it's not boring at all.

I liked how the set looks on the box, and review videos.When I got the set, before opening the bags, I always double check to count the numbered bags, and it's annoying now, how they make the same number on multiple bags. I almost didn't catch it until I found out that the number 16 bag has x2 bags (a small and large). This box was missing the small one. Before sending it back, I tried all day requesting the replacement parts from LEGO's official site. I was rejected all x3 times. It was then that I gave it my best and had to return it.PS, I do like these new "city" sets, but I'm not happy that they use so many hundreds of the transparent blue 1x2 pieces to raise their "pieces count" for the set. Almost x500 pieces were for the "water" effects alone.Doing the math, that's close to $34 for the "water" base.
