Q: I have a leak at a joint on a 2 inch pvc pipe. Will this product work to fix this leak?

Yes. Exactly what I had on sub pump. Worked great and fast. Apply watery at first so fills the cracks then as it starts to harden apply more to really make solid fix. Gets hard as PVC

Q: Any opinions on how this would hold up to bolt fastening on the side cover of an antique motorcycle? Crack is right near bolt hole.

It's about as good as you'll find. Sets up real hard. If it's just a fairing bolt don't tighten it down too much.

Q: Does this make plastics water resistant?

I believe it will temporarily but it's not really it's intended purpose.

Q: Will this work to repair external threads on a plastic hose fitting?

The answer depends on how thick the threads are. This product cures rock-hard, but it is also brittle in thin applications. If any force is going to be applied to a thin-type thread, said force will likely shear off the repaired portion of the plastic.
