Great kits
These are great kits to simplify construction of Arduino robot cars. Used to spend most of my time manufacturing a chassis from poster board and mounting motors with hot glue. Now most of my time is spent where it matters: developing robot cars with different operating modes, including obstacle avoidance, bluetooth via and app or joystick, and radio-controlled using nrfL24 transceivers. But yes, it is made of brittle acrylic, so you need to be careful, especially around younger children. On the plus side, you can pay around $15 for a set of four motors and wheels alone, or you can pay the same price for a set of four motors and wheels INCLUDING A CHASSIS. This is a no-brainer. Would give it 5 stars if not for the brittle acrylic. Deserves at least 4.5 stars, but not possible to award half a star. Highly recommended for those interested in spending time building cars instead of constructing chassis from whatever material is at hand.

Great Chassis for the money and Customer Support!
I do not write reviews very often, but I have to say something about this item and the customer support I received. I bought this chassis for my raspberry project and it was a perfect match for my needs. Somehow, I lost one of the small pieces to attach the motors to the chassis. I contacted customer support via email. I received an email within hours. They sent me a picture of the item missing and asked me how many I needed. Long story short, they sent me two extra pieces for free in the mail, It took some time because It came from China but I am very happy with this kit. Thank you very much.

Good starter kit for the money - brittle - wheels keep falling off
Overall good value for money - would have been perfect if wheels had been screw-on instead of snap-on.- spacious - was able to fit arduino, batteries and 2 h-bridges with room to spare- multi-level - so more space available on bottom deck if needed- hard to remove baseplate covering - used acetone as suggested by another reviewer- wheels do not fit tightly with the motor shaft, wobble and fall off easily- acrylic tags that hold the motors are brittle - broke 4 of them while trying to get the wheels to grip more firmly with the motor shaftTried securing the wheels with loctite - still fall off e- if the wheels had

Great way to get started on Robot
This kit includes some valuable getting started stuff and leaves plenty of room to improvise the rest on your own.

Fun but difficult to assemble
The instructions to assemble the car were not super clear and the films on the acrylic are annoyingly hard to remove, but after you get through that, it’s a pretty fun toy to play with and learn from. The overall packaging was good and the acrylic was almost perfect. There was one piece that was broken out of the box but since it isn’t really visible and still worked perfectly fine, i’m not displeased with it

Not as bad as people make it seem
It’s cheap. The stickers that protect the plastic is hard to get off. The motors are slower than I had hoped. And none of that matters because I bought it to prototype some ideas, and it’s allowed me to do that and do it within a minuscule budget. In that sense, it’s perfect

Poor build quality
Very flimsy frame and bad build quality. It's hard to mount the wheels. I ended up damaging one of the motors while trying to mount them. Also, the wheels rub sometimes rub against the frame after they are mounted. Would not recommend!!!
