Ledger Nano S Limited Edition

In my previous review I WAS WRONG !The company contacted me and clarified the issues and were absolutely fantastic.they made significant steps to help me and I would definitely recommend them highly. I was concerned about the device. They contacted me immediately and addressed my concerns. They were extremely professional and shared my concerns which was wrongly assumed. They provided me with the best tech support and were outstanding. I have actually decided to purchase Nano-x which I think is revelutionary but nano-s is also fantastic. If you invest in crypto currency, this company’s products are by far the best . I have other devices but none were so complete and reliable.The greatest company I have ever dealt with. Top notch.

Works as advertised.. the only annoyance is you can only have 4-5 coin apps installed at once.. but you can uninstall the apps without loosening the coins.. so you can just hot-swap the apps as needed. The leger-live app is cool because it lets you see the current value of your crypto currency (without having to plug it in - it remembers from the last time it was attached).

I already have a Ledger Nano S, and I love the security and peace of mind it gives me. I purchased this special edition primarily to load the same recovery phrase as the first device, so as to use it as a back-up. This is something you are supposed to be able to do.The problem is: of the 24 words in the recovery phrase, the 18th word in the original phrase does not appear as an option in the 18th word choice on the new Ledger Nano S. I checked it out, double checked it, searched the options, searched the options again, ...it simply is not an option. That word is not available on the new device. All of the other words are there, but not the 18th word.That of course means, I can set it up as a new, separate wallet, but I can't use it to back up the first device.I will, however, buy another Ledger Nano S at some point in the future, and try again to set it up as a back up to the first device I purchased.

Originally gave this product a one star review!! Ledger reached out to me personally and resolved the issue. Am very impressed with their professionalism and immediate response. Great product and will purchase from Ledger in the future.

Very difficult to use and very limited on the number of cryptos accepted. I am not going top put my cryptos on this.

Ease of use

Very secure. Cold Storage, so no electricity needed except during usage. Cool. "The ONLY secure crypto is that which YOU control...". This is currently the closest thing there is to actually holding the "Coin" that I am aware of.

I just put it on my computer last Friday and haven't transferred any digital cryptocurrency to it yet. I like having a Hard wallet and will also add a physical metal case to store my 24 crypto identification words!
