The set up for this product was fairly easy. The small fab gets power by being plugged into a PC or electrical outlet vis USB. The The device is powered with 2 AA batteries. You can control on/off of the spigot from the app or manually from the unit. The app allows timers and scheduling, which is convenient. Two major issues I have with the product: 1) there is a significant drop in water pressure when using this device vs not using this device and 2) the device frequently loses wifi connection, which makes it useless when you are away from home and want to control it. (I have moved the wifi fab extremely close to the device and this is still a regular problem). This fix is to go through the set up process again.Also, additional parts were included with the packaging but the instructions made no mention of them or their purpose. That's kind of annoying.
