I'm not sure it does expire, but I have 3 cats that I use it on and it goes pretty fast around here. I've had one bottle of a different variety for nearly a year and it still seems to have the desired effect on the one cat I use it for. It has a very pleasant, light aroma that still is present.

Q: How do you use this. Do you spray on furniture or does the cat digest......?

I sprayed it where my cat sleeps AND a quick squirt on the back of her neck. My traumatized cat came out of 2 mos of hiding after ONE dose of this spray! I didnt believe it. Tried it again the next day, and she wandered around! I cant believe it but it worked for us!

Q: does it stop your cat from pooping on the carpet?

this didn't work at all for my cats, in fact it made them more aggressive! I got a refund for it.

Q: is this topical or ingested?

Its both, but personally I'd try the topical route before putting it in their water
