Great comfort and sound, not great microphone
As a reference point I've gone from AirPods 1 -> AirPods Pro 2 (didn't fit) -> AirPods 4 ANC so I've been through all of Apple's offerings and am in the group of people who have odd shaped ears so that in-ear solutions just don't work. As a self admitting Apple fanboy I was keen to try Sennheiser's offering as a premium audio brand.First impressions are great, I love the simplicity of not needing an app to set them up and it just requires you to connect a USB C cable to 'activate' for setup. Normal Bluetooth setup from my iPhone and Mac which was easy and connection has been rock solid ever since, as well as fast pairing when taking the earphones out of the case. The earphones themselves are very light and have a similar design to the Airpods Pro, just without the in ear tip - the matte black attracts some fingerprints as expected but nothing too horrendous. Fit wise they're very comfortable, and due to their weight can almost be forgotten about. A huge feature is that they handle multiple devices really well and it's a pretty seamless switch.Sound quality wise I'm also pretty happy, they sound good and it's impressive how loud they get considering their weight. Their open ear design will always allow outside sound in, but they're perfectly serviceable even on public transport so I don't really mind - but if you want absolute quiet you need in ear ANC anyway. Their main negative point for me is that the microphone isn't great, sure it works but too often has the person on the other end asked me to repeat myself and this doesn't happen even on my original AirPods 1.At £70 I deem these good value for money, cheaper than AirPods and especially if you're not in the Apple ecosystem anyway and don't use them for calls, these are a good choice.

Great quality, wireless earbuds
If you're looking for a more affordable set of headphones that look, feel and work very similar to Apple AirPods then this is a great option. These come in at a fraction of the price when compared to more expensive options from Apple, but the performance isn't too far off. Whilst they don't quite have the clarity and levels when compared to Apple, I find that for commuting or working out in the gym: listening to TV shows from my laptop/phone, listening to music, listening to podcasts/audiobooks is all really enjoyable. I think that you'd be able to tell a slight difference if you rotated between the AirPods and these, but without that direct comparison you wouldn't put these in and be disappointed.Importantly, these stay put in your ears once they're in, even as you start to sweat whilst running. I also felt they were very comfortable and was happy to wear these for multiple hours without taking them out 'for a break'.Battery life is great, because the case acts as a charging device when you take them out of your ears and drop them back into it. This case connects to the headphones and begins charging them up. Because of this, the earbuds will last around 25-30 hours from my experience so far.

Pretty good with a few flaws
These earbuds certainly look premium quality. Extremely light, they sit nicely in the ear without having to be forced into the canal, meaning they're very comfy. Sound quality at first listen is excellent, but, also feels very flat, and once things get busy they lose a lot of the definition. I like to listen to some fairly busy and noisy music, and I find that a lot of punch is lost with these. I couldn't get a decent level of bass, and the overall sound was a bit lifeless after a while.Battery life is good on these, and the connect very easily via Bluetooth, so no issues with functionality. Sound quality and definition is generally good, with decent clarity and instrument seperation, but I felt the overall sound feels slightly lifeless. Build quality is excellent, and they're certainly comfy, although I also felt that the lightness works against them a bit and it would be extremely easy to lose one without realising it.Overall, for a mid priced set of earbuds, I think these could have better sound, and would have expected as much from Senheiser. Other than that, the sound is perfectly acceptable, and the comfort level, lightness and design all work in it's favour. Decent value for money, but if you're picky about the sound quality, try before you buy if possible.

Buds
Connected effortlessly. Sound quality is plenty good enough and compares well with more expensive buds I've owned.

Dull out of the box, and the fit is subpar
Out of the box, the sound is dull and lifeless, the high frequencies are muted, and there is no clarity whatsoever. I tried to connect these to the Sennheiser app, but it would not find them, so I used Wavelet to fix the EQ and they are far better. The open nature of the buds allows sounds in, but the way they have achieved this seems to be via a loose fit, and this makes them insecure in your ear. They always feel like they are going to fall out. They should have included wings or similar, as normally the silicone tip would help secure them in your ear. When EQ'd the sound opens up and you get far more clarity in the upper mids and treble. I don't know why Sennheiser are obsessed with softening the upper region of the spectrum, but EQ can generally fix that.I have a lot of open ear headphones and these don't sit anywhere near the top. Sennheiser could have done far better here
