NextGen Cold Air Intake System: High-Flow Cotton Filter: Compatible with 2011-2025 DODGE/JEEP: Durango, Grand Cherokee, 50-1563

Great product. I have the "NextGen" version. On a 2020 Jeep WK2, 5.7. I do notice a difference in normal daily driving. It does appear to breathe easier and I notice the sound of a V8 engine breathing now, which I was expecting and welcome. Haven't driven enough yet to notice any MPH changes I do have two things to mention: - There is an AC line that runs under the intake tube. The K&N intake is now resting on the AC line. I think it will be ok. I probably wouldn't substitute some change in the pipe to accomodate the line (potentially affecting performace) just so that it's not resting on the line. But worth mentioning. I suspect they might not of had the clearance to make the pipe curve around it - at least not without making the tube narrower. - This is 100% my fault - but the new 1/2 hose for the crank vent to me looked too long - and it was long enough that the bend was causing a leak. Simple solution I thought -- I'll just cut the hose a little. I took about 2in off and now the pipe is too short to fit where it needs to so that the engine cover fits on. I assumed they just gave a little extra just in case... My bad. Luckily it's a simple/common hose. I can likely get it here for $5-10 I have used K&N filters in many vehicles. I have not used their CAI before. So far so good.

This is not a review of the product itself. This is misinformation that is listed for this particular cold air intake. It states that it will work on my Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 2012 3.6 l engine but it does not. It is made to work with a intake manifold that is located in front of the engine. Mine is located in the rear left side or passenger side. The correct part number for the one that works on my vehicle is 77-1560KTK I have returned this one and ordered the correct one. I hope this helps others. K&N is great and has great products.

Love the intake but I did not receive the box that protects the filter. That was the purpose of the intake so if they can send me that I will change this review! I don’t need a return just need that one piece because right now it’s zip tied due to not having the box that fits around the filter.

I bought this k&n product because it looks great and makes the most power, but when installing it found that it does not fit properly if you have a Grand Cherokee with an SRT Hood the box hits, it has to be modified to fit which I think is ridiculous for the money you spend on this intake. On the k&n website and even Amazon says it fits all models which is not right, I've always been a believer of k&n and only bought k&n. After installing it, i road tested and the intake is amazing and performs beautifully I wish they made the box a little lower so it doesn't have to be modified to fit
