As long as the opening of the charm is smaller than 5mm it can slide on to the chain. But the style of this link is too long and won't allow charms to move freely sliding around. They will most likely get bunched up when one charm is stuck. You should get a round snake chain or something with smaller links to allow free spinning around the bracelet.
