well I think so about the megas, if you are talking the rival rounds I don't think so. if you roll it slow and not like your speed vacuuming it works great. I like mine..

Some tips for optimal performance are to place the Dart Rover on a smooth surface, like hardwood floors or carpets, push the Dart Rover forward towards darts and maintain a forward motion, and keep the wheel guides parallel to the floor. We hope these helpful tips result in a more positive play experience for you.

Q: Does it work for picking up the Nerf rival rounds (little yellow balls)?

It doesn’t. It’s meant to pickup the elite darts, but won’t get those either. Barely works on hard floor, mostly shredding and damaging darts. It does not work on carpet, no matter how low pile.
