If you're a Cold Steel person, you'll like this
Even though the blade itself seems short, it does fit the length of the handle — and that handle fits my XL-sized mitts almost perfectly. The blade itself, as you can see, has a very deep belly, adding to the heft and there's enough to grab that you can hold on to the blade and flick it open with a shake of your wrist, hand, and forearm, assuming you don't want to open it in the normal way with your thumb on the grooved thumb plate. It's a good weight for EDC and will join my rotation. The feel is solid and when the blade locks, it locks with a very satisfying click. Cold Steel has another winner here.

Extra Large Quick Deploying Pocket Short Sword
This is truly a monster folding knife that does fit in your pockets. Easy and smooth opening, and has the wave feature making it quick to deploy out of any pocket, even a coat pocket. I just feel a little safer carrying this razor sharp short sword

Easy to carry and very functional tool.
Amazingly functional design! Really versatile knife. Glad I bought two, because my wife wanted one too. I had to give the sharp edges on the handle some diamond nail file softening to really make them comfortable in the hand.Hint: If the blade release is too hard on your thumb….the easiest fix is to open the blade to only 90 degrees and leave it safely in that position for 3-5 days. After that the spring will slightly weakened up to still be very functional but easy on your thumb!

High Quality! Dependability!!!
Can not go wrong with Cold Steel!!! The carry, overall design, and feel of the Rajah III is amazing. I EDC this blade and have put it through the paces for sure. still locks up tight, still as sharp as the day it arrived!

I have taught hand-to-hand combat for over 39 years. This is a great pocket weapon!
Now, THIS is a real pocket knife! Big and hugely sharp, it is for those who know knives well and want protection resting out of their pocket. I do not think that you will be disappointed in the least. Hit the buy button!

Versatile and Strong. Kind of a "baby" size Spartan. I'm Liking This Knife.
UPDATE 1-3-24 (after some serious use) :A very satisfying work knife ! ! !Surprisingly "slicy" edge for having such a thick spine. It is as at-home removing machinery from pallets as it is on the cutting board in the kitchen (seriously great ergonomics and blade shape for BOTH tasks).Good and light for such a full handful of a knife.Wave / pocket hook opener worked flawlessly every time which is exceptional since part of the time I had just dropped the knife in my back pocket (since I was wearing an apron) and I didn't even bother to clip the knife to my pocket; just a quick grab and pull on the edge of the pocket and we are off and running ( time after time ) !This knife has always called to me over the years and I had (stupidly) come up with "reasons" in my mind not to buy it.I'm so glade I put an end to that and listened to my instinct / subconscious.A great, great knife : size wise, cutting ability and relatively light weight. (and I've got piles of Cold Steel folders I'm comparing it to.)If you are drawn to this design DON'T put it off is my advice.ORIGINAL REVIEWI just wanted to say that the knife I received 12-28-23 has full, nested, ALUMINUM liners !This is a very good thing. The Large Rajah has them but from the research I did I could not get a definitive on the smaller Rajah III knife and many reviews said "steel" or "stainless steel" liners. That would be fine to but from having several Cold Steel Voyager knives I know their aluminum liners , which are 6061 aluminum alloy that have been heat treated, are PLENTY STRONG and much lighter than steel liners.I gripped a strong button magnet and slipped it between the liners using my trusty Swiss Army knife precision pliers (love these pliers) and there was zero attraction to the liners. If the liners had been steel / stainless steel there would have been at least some (or strong) attraction to the magnet. There is a possibility the liners are titanium but most likely not at this price point. (See Boker's Urban Trappers etc., for Titanium liners but they are >$100 knivesI'll update after a bunch of use but here are some quick observations :Lock release takes quite a bit of force (ala Cold Steel in general) pushing on the bar with the end of your thumb nail will make it easier (as apposed to using the pad of your thumb or the side of your index finger). As another has said, opening the knife using one's thumb on the pocket hook plate is a bit of a stretch; pushing out ward on it with the back face of one's thumb nail somehow lines you up to make the reach. Try it.There is a sharpening choil at the edge near the pivot but the edge, at least on mine, was not ground back anywhere near enough to make that useful. That was why I took off a star. I modify most all my many Cold Steel knives (which is considerable ((some I have as many as three of the exact same knife)) so . . . looks like I will be buuussssing out the slow speed belt sander yet again.Pocket clip is typically (for Cold Steel) unusably short and inflexible. A decade of modding these has taught me the best bet is grind the back side of it thinner in the section where it flexes (not where it bolts to the handle).Enjoy your knife hobby ! Don't forget to buy the belt sander and bench grinder.Don't get me wrong I actually love Cold Steel knives or I wouldn't keep buying so dang many of them . . . it is just that once one has experienced an axis lock and a titanium pocket clip on a basic Spyderco Salt knife one begins to think Cold Steel designers need to . . . "get out more".Ha, ha, ha.PS: the Cold Steel knife with similar blade shape that is , size wise, between the Rajah II and Rajah III is the Spartan. It has steel liners and is a BEAST of a knife (such a cool / strong / useful knife though). Be warned if you carry the Spartan everyday you might start to lean a little to that side. But not as much as if you were carrying the much thicker bladed Cold Steel 4-Max Scout. (of course they just came out with the 5-Max Scout . . . to carry that you will need a side car): )

It's definitely a pocket kukri💯💯💯
This pocket kukri is my first and new favorite out of all of my pockets knives. I used to carry the kneed foss DA52 it's blade is five inches long pretty good pocket knife plenty of meat in the blade and easy to deploy. However this knife exceeds the bounds of pocket knifes. The blade work and quality are amazing the blade is shaped like a kukri and beefy like one as well. The handle is long enough to work the blade and index really comfortable. This blade feels different in the hand it's difficult to explain it the blades thickness is very well balanced the blades hardness is amazing as well. The stone wash finish method used on the blades left a pattern/ design on the blade that catches light or Sun ray's and makes the blade shimmer. The locking mechanism is very strong and the knife is very strong and sturdy. The knife has held it's edge like it was bran new. The knife is very comfortable and moves well with the wielder but be aware this knife comes to you sharpened already cuts from this kind of knife are deeper than regular knives byers be very careful... But aside from that if you like fast and sharp steel you'll have it with this blade.
