I have been looking into transitioning from plastic storage containers to glass primarily for durability. Over time plastic breaks apart from repeated use and dishwasher, and also I get weird crusty residue that NEVER seems to come off when washing in the dishwasher.I have had pyrex glass storage containers which has plastic lids but unfortunately, over time, the glass edges have chipped or the plastic lids eventually have cracked and warped.Enter these BENTGO containers. I really love these although they take some getting used to.1. The glass is thick and more durable. I equate it to the thickness of glass casserole dishes I use to bake in the oven. The edges are beveled over, which gives me more confidence these won't chip easily knocking on anything,2. The tops are do seal well once you figure out how to do it correctly. While I am not confident this would 100% hold something like soup, I feel comfortable with it holding something saucy or like yogurt. To seal, its better to open the vent plug, securely press the lid down and then close the vent lid to kind of "suck" everything in. Once i figured out this trick it was much easier to put the tops on without feeling like I'm putting too much force or having to mold the edges down. I like the flexing silicone lid rather a hard plastic top.3. Opening it is the same way, open the vent lid then open it up. Since the lid is flexible silicone, I found it difficult to wrestle it off something and was worried I'd drop it or just spill everywhere when i get it open. However, opening the vent first allows you to easily come off.4. I love that these can be microwaved, frozen, dishwasher safe and in the oven. This is truly versatile.

These glass food storage containers have to be my favorite set of glass storage containers that I have owned yet. I have been wanting to replace all of my plastic storage and reheating containers because of the recent studies warning about the various chemicals coming from plastic containers that are leaching into our foods causing health risks.What do I love about these containers?:* The thickness of the glass seems "just right". I have owned others that are rather thick.* The silicone covers have an excellent design that seals the cover on tight; and by the way, silicone is not made of the same materials as plastic.* The steam vent hole is easy to access and the lids do not need to be removed when reheating in a microwave.* I have very limited storage space in my kitchen and I absolutely love that the four glass containers nestle into each other and take up space only as much space as the largest container.I highly recommend this set of glass food storage containers!

The bowls are excellent. They seal perfectly and keep food contained without leaks. The glass bowls have glass lids with a rubber seal around them and a flap with a notch that fits into a small hole on the lid. To seal these, you place the lid on, press it down, and then secure the rubber flap by inserting the notch into the hole. This works great.The glass bowls are dishwasher-safe, although I would never put the lids in the dishwasher, as I don’t want to risk damaging the rubber seal. I put the entire set to work at a BBQ this past weekend. We used them for hot food coming in from the pit. Later, we sealed some leftovers, and they performed very well. In the image, you can see how the sealing mechanism works. To open the bowls, you should first release the notch and then pull the lid open.These are very elegant, and when guests saw them, they asked about them.

We have been needing a new set of storage containers and I didn't want more plastic. I am so happy that I came across these!! You get 6 Containers and 6 lids. The lids are glass with a plastic/rubber gasket. What is nice, is the assortment of sizes! Also, these are safe to bake in or use in the microwave. We have a microwave/oven/air fryer combination that we like to use rather than heat the house up with the oven. Tonight, I baked a keto, sugar free cake in the larger round one, and it came out perfect! These are also dishwasher safe, but I cleaned them up by hand; which was simple. These also come in a nice, sturdy box! I am so glad that these are packed so well. These would make a great gift for a housewarming!

I say so far so good because the lids just don't give me the impression they are here to last a while but that is just my opinion, I hope they do.This is a nice set despite my curiosity of longevity.Easy to remove air, you simply pop open a port on the lid, push down and then plop the port plug back into place.I hope they last a long time because I do like the sizes and appearance of them.

Very high quality and well packed. The silicone seals and glass tops are good bonus. The glass is thick borosilicate but also lightweight. They are nicely marked as being oven/dishwasher/freezer safe.Truly a great set of storage glasses.

Love this set. Very good quality. I like that the lids are also glass. I like the steam valve feature for warming up in the microwave. That's a thoughtful touch.

These are high quality containers and the glass is thick. These are better than the kind you can get at the big box stores. they also wash up easily.
