The Waterpik Aquarius Water Flosser has been such a helpful addition to our family’s dental routine. With 10 pressure settings, everyone from my husband to the kids can find their perfect level - no more complaints about flossing being too hard or annoying! I also love that it comes with seven different tips, so we can each have our own, and it works great for different needs. Whether it’s braces, sensitive gums, or just a good deep clean, this flosser handles it all. The tank is a good size and lasts long enough for a full session without needing a refill. It’s not the quietest gadget in the world, but honestly, that’s a small price to pay for how clean my teeth feel after using it. It’s so much easier than regular floss, and it feels like a little mini spa treatment for your gums. Definitely worth it for the whole family!

Bought this to help my 10-year-old with cleaning braces and expander, as well as his teeth, since he can't really floss very well with regular floss. But we can all use it in our family. Waterpik has a good name/rep, so that was why I chose it, even though there are plenty of less expensive water flossers to choose from. I like that this has a large reservoir so you don't usually have to refill it unless you're spending an extra-long time on flossing, or if you're using it at the higher settings. I figured a plug-in might have better power than battery operated ones. I like the sturdiness of the unit as it sits- I have no worries about it tipping over even when empty, even when my kids are using it. It's easy enough to move it closer to the sink if you need to and then move it back after you're done. There is a power switch to turn the main unit on and another switch to start the water spraying out of the head. The sprayer pauses every 30 seconds or so to help you keep track of how long you're using it. Be forewarned, there will be water sprayed on the wall, ceiling, floor, other ppl nearby, mirror, etc, as kids (and adults) get used to keeping the flosser head in their mouth while the water is turned on, and turning the water off before taking it out of their mouth. He still accidentally sprays things from time to time (after 2 months) but mostly has it under control. You can't really look in the mirror to use it- the water will run/spray everywhere. Keep your head down, mouth open, and go by feel around your teeth and gums. It's gets easier the more you use it. My son has worked his way up to level 6 now, which amazes me because I can't stand it on that high. But he sees a big difference in the amount of food particles that come out on the higher setting versus the lower setting. I think it's helping keep things cleaner than regular flossing. I would advise starting on the lowest setting and working your way up as needed. There were 6 heads with the unit, so we all get to have our own, plus he uses the orthodontic head. I did have to buy a separate case to keep them organized. Overall, I think this is a great investment to help take better care of your teeth and oral health in general. 5 stars!
