A Thoughtfully Designed, Seamless Solution for Capturing Perfect Moments—TOGETHER!!
My partner has a deep passion for photography—far beyond the realm of a casual hobby. For her, each photo is a treasured reminder of a moment, a feeling, or a story. She shoots with a Sony Alpha 7 IV and has built a well-rounded kit of lenses and accessories, each selected with intention and care. But despite the advanced gear, one challenge remained: she was rarely in the photos she loved to take. While her tripod offers excellent stability, capturing group or family photos without her behind the camera has always been a logistical hassle. We’ve tried smartphone apps to trigger the shutter, but they’re often clunky, slow to respond, and visually intrusive—especially when holding a phone in-frame during what should be a timeless shot. This wireless remote has truly changed the game. The design is compact, sleek, and intuitive. Its small size makes it easy to conceal in hand or behind an object, allowing for natural, undisturbed photos. The built-in OLED screen is a thoughtful addition, giving real-time feedback and making it easy to see settings at a glance—something not typically found in remotes at this price point.Setup was seamless. It connected instantly via USB-C to her Sony Alpha 7 IV without any additional apps or complicated pairing steps. From the first use, it has performed flawlessly—no lag, no misfires, just smooth and reliable operation every time.Battery life has also been excellent. The rechargeable feature is convenient and eco-friendly, eliminating the need for constant battery swaps or replacements. It’s the kind of device that, once you have it, you wonder how you ever managed without it.In short, this shutter release remote has become an indispensable part of my partner’s photography setup. It’s affordable, highly functional, and—most importantly—it empowers photographers to be part of the memories they’re capturing.Highly recommended for any Sony user looking for a reliable, budget-friendly, and user-centered solution to elevate their photography experience.

Better than the wired remotes!
I'm using this remote with my Sony A7R3 camera, I don't have a zoom lens so the zoom/focus button doesn't work for me. I can't deduct stars for that, because that's my own fault. The only button I'm using is the shutter button which is such a huge help! I was trying to use a remote that plugged directly into my camera, but that causes the camera to shake. This remote being wireless takes away that worry! It's also great for taking self portraits because you can keep the remote with you rather than being tethered to a wire that's going to show up in your photos. There's also a custom button that you can set up with one of your favorite buttons. The remote paired and charged easily and is nice and compact to keep in my camera bag.It does feel a bit overpriced for me, just because I can only benefit from the shutter release button but if you do have a compatible lens this may be worth it to you!

ZV-E10 Review
I'm thinking back to all the times I was filming myself, did a bad take, and walked across the room to start a new take, then walked back before doing it. Then when editing you have to sit and watch yourself walk back and forth. I'm glad I won't have to do that!CompatibilityWith a little fiddling in the menus, I was able to pair the remote with my camera. After that they connect quickly and I've had no problems.FunctionalityI love that it has separate video and picture buttons.I also love that it senses when the picture button is half-pressed and autofocuses, just like the button on the camera. Nice!Remote ControlIt works when in my pocket, which is good.Build QualitySo far no issues.Value For MoneyIt's a little pricey, but It's got an OLED screen, is good quality, and it's already making filming myself at a distance much less tedious. And since I'm doing Vine reviews and don't want to spend lots of time editing, that matters. Totally worth it in my opinion.

Works well with line of sight
I got this for my Sony camera as i needed this to take self portraits for either head shots or thumbnails. I really liked that this has a screen so i at least have some information about what is happening unlike the OG sony one. the information is relatively lacking just connection status and such but hey better than nothing. Also love that this is usb charging no more need for this watch batteries. Worked instantly with my sony camera as long as you have clear line of sight to it.Its about the same price as i remember getting my original sony one at with a screen and similar functionality. So I think its fair in terms of that. There are less buttons but i think for most if you are using it just as a shutter release or zoom in and out/ record then thats all you really need. Build quality is decent a little chonkier than expected but ill take it to no longer use those dang watch batteries.

A good value in an accessory for my Nikon camera!
First and foremost, this Aodelan remote control for my Nikon Z50ii actually came with a very good set of instructions. They are clear, concise, and thorough. Also, it is a very good translation. (There is one set in English and one in Chinese.) They are also printed in a large enough font size so a magnifying glass isn't needed to read them. This has not always been the case with Chinese imports. For this alone I would give it 5 stars. Second, the unit's battery comes with about an 80% charge, and an hour, or so, on a charger brought it to 100%. Third, pairing the remote to my camera was quick and simple, and taking pictures with it was a breeze. Lastly, the price is just 2/3 of the OEM version. My only concern, and it is a minor one, concerns packing it in my camera bag. If packed away tightly, I can easily see the power button of the remote being pressed and turning the unit on. A small, rigid case for storing the remote would be a helpful addition.
