This is a perfect fit for the original and easy to install.Motors only go so long on any rc model, so will always have another in stock. More than fair price and great product.

The motor fit perfectly in the fuselage. Be very careful when removing the old one, as cutting through the glue tends to pull some of the styrofoam along with it. I was able to fill in the damaged area and install the new motor without any issues. I did have to slightly loosen the plastic retainer on the back of the shaft, as it was a bit too tight, I don't see that as a flaw, just a minor adjustment; however, I did notice the upper shaft had no lubrication at all, so I added a small amount of sewing machine oil. The main issue I encountered was with the wiring, the new motor’s wires were far too short to reach the connector on the board, I had to cut the wires from the old motor and solder them to the new motor’s leads to extend the length.

Wires are too short. Had so splice them. To pull the old unit out is difficult as it is glued in place. So when it is pulled out it will take material with it. This makes installing and aligning the new part difficult. Wires colors not the same as original but apparently the color doesn't matter as the connector can be installed either way. And it did work. My Cub S is flying again.

I bought this motor/gear box for my Champ. It was work to get the old one out with the least amount of foam coming out with it. I used hot glue to reinstall the assembly. Taped the plane halves back together, and took it out for a test flight. I did notice that the new assembly had a hum or buzz to it. I tossed the plane into the air and it wouldn't turn! After it crashed I took it apart and found that I got hot glue on the rudder gears. Picked the glue off, and tried again, this time the buzz was gone and it flew fine. Still does but I've only got about 10 flights on her new motor. Remember to do a flight precheck of controls.

Works as should definitely is not easy to put in because you gotta glue it in and the old ones glued in and it tears up the foam
