I didn’t use it myself and kept it aside for three weeks before sending it to her.Unfortunately, the watch stopped working properly within a week of use. It constantly loses time, requiring her to reset it every day.(Now it is losing 10 minutes per hour which means you have adjust 10 minutes every hour).I contacted the seller for support, only to be told that the watch has a mere 6-month dealer’s warranty. To make matters worse, I have to bear all expenses for sending and receiving the watch for repairs (within Japan).This is unacceptable for a product that cost ¥26,000. Even budget watches priced at ¥5,500 from shops like The Clock House come with a 3-year warranty.When I inquired about the product’s origin, the seller refused to disclose it, stating only that it wasn’t made in Japan. This lack of transparency is highly disappointing.As a loyal Amazon customer for six years, this has been my worst experience so far. I’ve lost peace of mind, money, and trust in both Seiko and this seller.For anyone reading this, I highly recommend exploring better options in stores like The Clock House or Mega Don Quijote, where you can find more reliable watches with better warranties at similar prices.
