Bristle Block 85-Piece Set

I bought this for my two year old granddaughter's birthday. I had noticed that she liked playing with a similar building set at her preschool. She absolutely loves the set and her seven year old sister loves it too. The quality is very good and the price was very reasonable. Having the plastic case is an extra bonus to help keep the set pieces together.

I bought this product after my grandchildren, age 2 1/2, enjoyed playing with a set that their dad enjoyed as a child. This product has more variety, brighter colors, soft flexible bristles, people and wheels which they were delighted with. My grandson built "trucks" and my granddaughter built "boats". Dad even got into the act helping them build, do we ever really outgrow these childhood pleasures! When they received the blocks, they played with them for days and I know it will be fun for them for years to come. And the container is well built and great for collecting all the pieces. The blocks are easy for little ones to handle and attach to each other and the creativity they discover about their projects make them giggle. A great product that I approved of 35 years ago and still do.

My 2-year-old grandson enjoys playing with the blocks and the little people, although he'll be able to use the blocks better as he gets older. I also enjoy playing with the blocks -- love the way they stick together. Plus, my grandson really likes the red suitcase. An adult is needed to help fit all of the pieces in and still be able to snap shut the lid.

My 2 year old granddaughter loved them and still plays with them as a 3 year old. She has a great imagination and loves creating different things for the people that are a part of the set. My kids loved bristle blocks 40 years ago!! Great toy! I was delighted to find it.

Sometimes, legos can be too advanced for little ones and sometimes you just don't have space for the huge building blocks. These are perfect for little hands because there's more flexibility in how they fit and pull apart and has kept my day care children entertained for hours, just as normal legos would. So I would recommend these for the toddlers before moving onto legos, and even the older kids can still enjoy them too! I only gave a 4 star because of the trouble I went through with price changes and sellers.. but the product is great!

I remembered having Bristle Blocks as a child and saw them in store on a rescent trip, not realizing they were still being made! I bought these as a Christmas gift for my 2 year old nephew and he LOVES them! I see him once a week and its been months now, and it's still a favorite go-to for him and we play together! SO MUCH FUN!

The Bristol blocks are good, but a child cannot pick up their toys due to the case being too small. I have to put all the pieces together to be able to fit. The case is also so flimsy and thin that the box is already broken after 3 days

My niece and I enjoyed playing with the bristle blocks. It took a moment or two to figure out odd number bristles to even number bristles for straight connections and even to even for offset connections. This 85 piece set has a good selection of shapes including working wheels and a doll family. Promotes imagination, and some applied physics.
