Zero Dust Stylus Cleaner

Quick and efficient way to clean stylus, the second one we have purchased they work really well.

This stylus cleaner more than lives up to expectations.I've used it to clean my ortofon 2m black and there is a very clear improvement in performance. Just by way of comparison I 've made a number of upgrades to my system usually costing hundreds of pounds and none of them have had the impact this cleaner has.One small caution - if buying in the UK expect to add 14 pounds customs charges

Odd stuff. The blurb says it's softer than a baby's skin and sticker than something that's pretty sticky. It's true too. Leave the phono input on and volume at normal listening levels and you'll hear nothing as the stylus hits the blob, but when you raise it, there's a definite soft plop noise. It does the job cleaning removing fine hair, dust etc., and the lack of any unusual buildup playing subsequent discs implies there's no sticky residue finding its way onto the stylus. The instructions suggest giving the headshell a gentle touch to ensure the stylus makes full contact with the gel, tried it a couple of times, but, really, in my case, the stylus comes up clean anyway, so why bother... But I guess that'll depend on how fast the drop is on your pickup lift. The magnifier in the lid of the box is good enough to check there's nothing stuck to the stylus, but not to assess wear etc. My only gripe is that, despite the gel being round, and perfectly capable of being in a *square* box the manufacturers have seen fit to make it a rectangle where the sides are only marginally different in size :|

Good item works well.

Does what its supposed to most of the time although it neeeds several attempts sometimes. The price is absurd though. A gentle blower actually does same thing.

It works perfectly in cleaning the stylus as promised.
