Q: Does the volume knob control the Aux output as well?

No,The volume knob of A07 Pro cannot be controlled the 3.5mm AUX output,as our customer said that the Aux output is simply a pass-through for the signal,thanks

I drive mine with my i phone and it doesn't sound as powerful as rated, It might be the input signal level. There are videos about this amp on you tube. You might find some info there. Good luck
