Classic K. Clear as ever
Read a lot of books by K., this one is a basic eyeopener for us all.He explains why the state of mind can not solve your problems, so go beyond the mind, explore the you in you.Read it over and over till it sinks in what he means, do not just read it, be it, live what he says.A masterpiece.Have a great journey, know yourself before everything else, this book certainly helps in that exploration.

Fantastic book, even for the disbeliever
Started reading it, not the usual thing I’d read but I’m actually really interested in this book and it’s almost given me a spiritual awakening! Would recommend if you’re feeling lost in life!

All felt a bit tough
I have read a fair amount in the field of Spirituality / Philosophy but never anything by J.K so I was very intrigued. I found it refreshing that he does not consider himself any type of saint or guru and in fact is quite opposed to religion and titles etc. There were definitely a few things he said that were very interesting and seem to carry some wisdom. However, the book was certainly a chore to read, not only in the writing style but his voice - he sort of attacks you for conforming to society and rewrites the true value of everything we do, (our structures of education, relationships etc) as pretty much futile. The only answer is to be free from the Ego. NOT an easy task.... I particularly disliked his words on dependance on others - I have to say I disagree, I think that is a fundamental essence of human nature to depend on others and be attracted to those who balance out our weaknesses and not one to be ashamed of. That is often how we learn and grow. His style is very authoritative and he speaks quite disrespectingly of those who chant in meditation etc or worship a God. Perhaps his work is too advanced for my current thinking I'm not sure, but I shan't be buying anymore J.K books for now.

Accessible yet profound
Sometimes reading a paragraph of Krishnamurti's insights can be enough to point out how one is responsible for his own state, a basis for new insights into oneself.Krishnamurti has been able to describe our inner workings not from an descriptive outside view but from within. The answer can be found only in oneself, not in projections, thoughts, ideas or aspirations which have their basis in an assumed outside authority.

So many rhetorical questions
So many rhetorical questions already is making this book very hard to read. I’m only on page 15 and each page must have 20 self asking questions. Hope it improves.

Nothing much
The author writes about very important topics that should be more discussed and that we sometimes need to remember ourselves. But he doesn't go deep into any of them as it looks like, he only talks about it. I think this is because the chapters are already short, but it happened to be subdivided, which made it even shorter, so he only talks a little about each one, but it's nothing special.
