Looks great with Indian Sandstone (no sealed) - Hard work for 1 person
I was worried when I first brought this product as I had seen some bad reviews where people had used it with Indian sandstone and it had cause bad staining. As you can see from the photos, there is no need to worry if you follow the instructions!I did a test patch first of about 3 slabs, then submerged the rest compound in the tub filled with water for later. Once I saw there was nothing to worry about I did the rest of the patio.I did buy from 2 different suppliers and the colour match wasn't an issue either. It is hard work for 1 person, as you need a continuous flow of water to wash the oil away, while brushing the compound into the gaps.I also spent a while afterward trying to get the oily rainbow effect to go, but it never fully goes.I did continue to wash the slabs for about 45 minutes after, and once dried they looked great.

Works quite well in all fairness.
Decent product but time will tell if it lasts. Quite easy to use and good that it can be saved by covering with water. Like it so far.

I am 74 and did it solo ( got sick of the broken promises ) of builders .
The builder layed this Indian slate down 6 years ago and when it was power washed recently it blew out lots of the old grouting after it had deteriorated over the winters . I could not get any builder to turn up so at 74 years old had a go myself having read all the instructions carefully . I first power washed , then spent a full day digging out all the loose grouting . Sent for a tub of Basalt 12.5 Kg grouting which came promptly and after removing any small lumps , mixed with water . The instructions advise to wear gloves and I used a sweeping brush to spread the wetted grout into the joints , a small piece of rounded wood to finish off neatly . I found it would have been quicker and easier to have someone to use the hosepipe but did manage to do it all on my own even if it did take longer to finish the job . Lucky for me my patio is not too large to not get finished in a day . When it dried off the next day it was good enough for me and I found if you are reasonably fit you could have a go .
