Best quality sesame tahini products
Best tahini available! Joyva properly roasts the sesame seeds before making tahini or halva. Best in both cases.

It is pure and tasty
This brand of pure tahini is always my favorite. But since you want my opinion , I should say in comparison to their earlier packages the sesame does not taste as roasted .

Excellent Tahini
I've used this brand for many years, mostly for hummus, but a lot ends up just slathered on bread. The sesame is toasted just right. This latest batch surprised me by not having the oil separated - which isn't a problem, it mixes right up, but I like to get the near-solid mass (yummy). But that's fine, I can use it immediately without a bit of stirring.Highly recommended.

always loved this
We ate this for years and then it disappeared from the market, or at least our grocery stores. So, finding it again on amazon was a big deal. It takes a long time to arrive, but hey, it does arrive and the wait, for us anyway, is worth it. It's not thick like stuff you typically get in jars. It's more like a thick liquid. But the taste is just unique, subtle, delicious and works on everything from bread to celery. Probably lots more...

How do you "blend" this?
Delivered quickly with prime pantry. There was no visible damage or anything. Product was not bad.The reason for the 2 stars is because when I opened the can with my can opener, the can was full of liquid. The product completely separated. It splooshed all over the counter.There is a note on the can that because it doesn't use any emulsifiers and such that the product may separate. Ok I get that.. The note says to blend it well before use.That is the reason for the 1 star. The stuff was stuck so hard onto the bottom of the can that there is no way to blend it. I was using a strong metal fork to scrape a little off the bottom and I could not get it all by any means. I was able to scrape a tiny bit for what I was making but blend it? I couldn't even get it out of the can!Impossible.Very disappointed because what little I did manage to get out of the can was good quality.
