Turned my iPad Mini into my dream laptop!
This thing is great! After ordering a different case on impulse after seeing a YouTube vid, I was very disappointed with the keyboard layout and then discovered THIS unit instead. I’m using it with an iPad Mini, and wowwww it’s great! The keys are a little condensed, but my fingers got used to the placement after a day. The illuminated keys are nice, and have some fun colors you can choose from (though it seems to reset the color choice after turning it off and on). I am big on hot keys and found it was really nice to use with art/animation apps. I am typing on it right now! Paired with iOS 26 Beta (this might be old by the time you read it), it TRULY makes the iPad Mini feel like a tiny laptop. I can easily pop it in my purse and have a tiny computer everywhere I go! The only downside I can see is the pencil side doe not have a protector around it, meaning if you go into tent mode (or drop it into your purse) the pencil may come off or be in the way. The pencil is not blocked from connecting to the iPad, it’s just not encased.Being an artist I need to have a really rigid screen holder, and this does the job nicely! When it’s in “tablet mode” the clamshell close remains a little open, but I think if I were using my iPad in that format, I’d likely just take it out of the case. The trackpad works nicely. When closing the case, it folds so nicely.Truly, this one product has elevated my iPad experience SO MUCH! I didn’t realize it could really feel like a laptop! It’s turned my Mini into my dream computer. One final note— weight. It’s a surprisingly heavy unit on its own, but then again, the Mini does need to be counterbalanced. The unit (with the Mini) can sit up on its own at a very reasonable angle before it starts to tip backwards.

A great upgrade
Excellent price and quality, easy to set up and looks so sleek and expensive! The track pad works great and I’m adjusting to the keyboard as it is small like one would expect for an iPad mini case. I will say it is top heavy (and heavy in general) so be careful and aware when setting it down as I almost lost it off the side of my couch. It really does make my iPad feel like a mini laptop!

Great for the price, but not good for storing iPencils.
Pretty good, but not if you want to keep an Apple Pencil with you.The case itself and the keyboard work great. Even better than I expected! It pairs easily, and the trackpad mouse works well for document editing and selecting apps. I use it daily at work as a plumber, it bounces around my truck and it has prevented damage to my iPad during drops at construction sites.I also use it heavily for reading (2+ hrs a day) and the ability to flip the screen backwards is great, because it helps balance the base, as opposed to opening it like a laptop. It creates a counterbalance for swiping the screen upward to scroll websites. The main con is the pencil options. They left the magnetic mount open, but should have made the case deeper to prevent sideswiping it. If anything it’s easier to knock the pencil off than it would be without a case. The side holder was fine at first, but it started stretching within a week and my pencil was falling out. You can see I solved that problem by wrapping some tape around the pencil at the top and bottom to prevent losing it. It continued stretching and I added more tape. Today, approximately 4 months after purchase, it tore heavily and does not hold the pencil anymore.A minor con for me is the finish, which is thin over a white plastic. The square around the camera rubbed off a spot near the mousepad, and there are white streaks along the sides. I don’t personally care but if you want it to remain looking new for a long time it might not be the one for you.

My Tablet is Now My Laptop
The media could not be loaded. It’s Great!!! There is not need to buy a laptop. This allows me to kill 2 birds with one stone. It is very sturdy and feels just like the MacBook Air laptop. After I received I am quite surprised that it was so cheap. It secure my tablet in place and is is very slim and streamlined. It functions just like a laptop. My iPad easily connected to it. You can’t go wrong with this purchase. After seeing how it functions with my iPad Pro 12.9 3rd Generation, there is not need for me to purchase a laptop. The design is just like a laptop once the tablet is added.

Not recommended
The hinge on this keyboard failed not long after the thirty-day return/refund window, making it ineligible for a refund via Amazon. I communicated with the seller, who, to their credit, responded very quickly. Unfortunately, their only offers were to send the broken keyboard back to China on my penny, get an open-box unit sent to me for free (not a terrible offer, considering), or get a discount on another of their products. Given the rapidity of the breakage and what I can now see as the design of the hinge I would rather have a refund, so none of these are great options. I will likely just eat the loss. This is unfortunate as the keyboard did its job pretty nicely until the hinge failure. If they beef up the hinge, it would be worth considering.Buyer beware. (had to say it this way as the Amazon algorithm apparently doesn't recognize a common Latin phrase)

Impressive
So I am a big fan of the versatility of a 360 degree screen keyboard for my iPad. I have tested several including the Typecase and a few others - there is one aggressively marketed on TikTok that I have also tried. So far - this one takes the cake. There is a plastic film that comes with it that you place over the keys. Key placement makes sense. The dedicated row of iPad specific keys is a hit. The 360 swivel doesn’t spin around and around too easily and make the annoying clicking sound like the one on TikTok. It’s lightweight but seems to have enough weight to keep it balanced. The touchpad is very nice and works with all types of gestures. The case is slim and not bulk so when I flip to non-keyboard flat mode - it’s not so thick. Priced lower than any of them so I thought it was going to have some sort of deficiency. None so far. It ranks the highest of all my tests.
