Not sure why the description of the items states electric car tire inflator, it will work on any car tire.It comes with a nice carrying case. It is large enough you can also carry other tire fixing tools.I went camping a few weeks ago, and my battery powered mattress pump died. In looking for a new pump, i wanted something that would not only pump up our air mattress, but our inflatable kayak, and car tires if needed. While this won't inflate our air mattress in the same 2 minutes that old pump would, it does inflate it, and will also inflate a tire in an emergency. Being rechargeable means I don't have to worry about keeping up with the 4 D batteries needed to run the old pump. If this one does not have enough charge, I can just plug it into my car or battery bank to charge.The owners manual recommends you to only run it for 10 minutes at a time. In my testing, I deflated my tire to 23 psi, it took it just at 10 minutes to get it to 36 psi. Based on that, if you tire was less than 10 psi, it would take roughly 30-40 minutes to inflate with cooling down time.The hose does get really hot after running for 5-7 minutes, 140-150 degrees.I like that it has a few modes (car, bicycle, ball) you can select and it will stop inflating when it gets to the present psi. There is a mode you can set you own psi for it to stop at.It also worked great at filling a football and pool float.

*Initial review 6/11/25*I hope this lasts for years - it is a great size to carry in the car. My main concern with this item is the battery life over time - I live in Texas so it'll get some extreme temperatures over the summer. But this is such a great value, I recommend it even if it just gets me through one year. Honestly I've used it twice and it's paid for itself versus paying at a gas station for air. The unit isn't as powerful as other inflators I have owned, but it gets the job done though it's a bit slower. It gets kind of hot in use and the instruction state not to run it for over 10 minutes. As long as I am just inflating to pressure, it can do all 4 of my tires without issue. My tires inflate to 32psi. I don't know above that pressure. I'll try to update my review after we hit the hot days of summer.

This thing is great to keep in the car. If you need to inflate a tire, it's ready to go and it doesn't take up much space. It comes with a really nice screw on hose and then different screw on ends for inflating tires, inflatables and balls. It works okay for tires or balls, but I feel like it would take a long time for a large raft or something. It has a large LCD display that you can dial in what pressure you want and then just hook it up and start inflating.I have a corded one of these that is huge and I have to deal with the cord. This one is much smaller and is cordless.It is still pretty loud, so you can't really escape that apparently. But it's no louder than any other similar inflator, so you really can't knock it for that.All in all, a great inflator!

I have a few of these generic tire inflators and they all work relatively the same so might as well get one that's price reasonably low like this one. The biggest difference between all these box shaped inflators is how they connect to the tire. Some use the old fashion pull down clamp while this one uses a simple press and thread. I much prefer the press and twist style that this unit has, it allows me to put the airhose on the air stem with one hand, I just push in and start threading, easy peasy! I use these to fill up one of my 275/30/21 tires and it filled up to 44psi in about 5-6 minutes. Getting up to 35 psi didn't take long at all but those last few PSI north of 40 really took awhile. These are a great item to keep in the car, just make sure you pull them out every 3 months and make sure they're still charged and still power on. At $29.99 this is a great buy.

Son handy! Charges easily, instructions are easy, and fills so easily! I love that it all comes in a hard carrying case to keeping my car! Great item to always have on hand!
