I have been flying RC helicopters for over 20 years and drones for over 10 years. Recently my original DJI Mavik died after nearly 10 years of faithful service. I went on a quest to find the best drone in the under 249 grams category. I did not want to bother with registering and licensing. This drone fits every category very nicely. Price point, advanced features, quality, flight characteristics and fluidity of controls, ease of use and easy connectivity. I believe anyone would do well with this drone from beginner to advanced. The pictures are high quality as is the video. The only place it falls a little short is the speed of flight. This is definitely not a deal breaker for me as I am not chasing cars or motorcycles. I mainly use it for construction documentation and personal photography. Don't let the price fool you this drone is great in the wind and comes with 3 batteries so you get plenty of flight time. It does not have object avoidance system, which I do not want because I get close to things on purpose. If you are looking for a small travel drone that is packed with features and quality at an affordable price, this one is worth every penny! The pictures below are in standard hi-res mode. The 8k photos are even better, but larger file size.

Let me start off by saying I am by no means an expert drone pilot. I will say, however, at that the ease of use of this drone, the stability and the quality of the images is outstanding. I took it on a vacation flight. And I got some of the most amazing images of a small town tucked between the mountains in Puerto Rico with amazing sunsets. I can't wait to keep honing my skills and learn all the features. For the price tag, compared to other drones of the same quality. You're not gonna get a better deal. I'd truly like the flight time, which is roughly thirty minutes per battery. I got three with the extended flight package. And it also has a training flight tutorial for people like me with very limited experience. Highly recommend you won'regret it.

I love this Drone. It has great features, easy to learn to fly and great features. Excellent videos and app that will have you flying like a pro in no time! Potensic also offers several insurance packages to protect your investment. I have more expensive drones but this Potensic is as good as any of them. Make sure to order the updated Atom 2. It’s worth the extra $60 for the better controller and distance.

The snow cap mountains are 40 MI away. This taken in my first 20 minutes with this drone, without the extraordinary new firmware, and only on the 12mp setting. I hadn't yet learned how to go to the 48 mp. Two weeks ago I had no experience with any drone. What I knew was that in this area of extraordinary visual beauty, I was often situated in the city with nothing but buildings and telephone wires surrounding me. And I wanted a periscope. My greatest interest is in the Magnificent sunrises and sunsets in this Cortez colorado. I studied, I tried hard to know what I was looking for, to find what was needed. And no useful guidance was found. I did my best. I've been through two excellent drones, but they are useless to me. But now this drone. It is extraordinary. 48mp, tho the other two drones had that as well. !!!! Manuel and automatic exposure, on screen with my Android. !!!! Good to excellent low light. Extraordinary ease of use, including very intelligent and automatic downloading of appropriate firmware updates. Very aggressive and appropriate warranty, crash, lost drone protection that I will be purchasing. I'm still only 2 weeks into this drone world. What I need for my application is a $2,000-5000 drone and that's not in the budget. But I think this is going to do it. Two times the price of other excellent bottom entry level drones, but this one I think is going to work. They've certainly done their part. Well done Potrensic.

This is a very nice and affordable drone. I bought it because I was not able to obtain a DJI drone for a reasonable price at the time due to the shortage. I am pleasantly surprised with this unit. For the price, you get the extra batteries and multi-charger for the same price as you'd usually pay for just the base drone package with DJI. The controller is pretty decent, and fits my phone easily. You could potentially mount a tablet with some creative use of mounting brackets. Feature and performance wise, I would say this drone compares very closely with the DJI Mini 2.the reason for that is like the Mini 2, this drone only has proximity sensors on the bottom. So unfortunately you don't get collision prevention that many more advanced DJI drones have. This is the only reason I removed a star. Everything else about this drone is great and still for the price I would buy another. The software for the drone is easy to use, and pretty intuitive. Not quite as polished as the DJI app but it doesn't make a huge difference to me and I haven't had any problems with it. Flight performance is great. It might be slightly more sensitive to windy conditions, but I was able to fly in relatively high winds without to much trouble. The video quality is also quite good honestly. It's definitely good enough for cinematic use. Overall for the price I think this drone performs well enough for first time flyers to have a good experience without spending a small fortune. I'm quite satisfied with it.

The Potensic Atom 2 punches above its weight. It gives a lot of very usable features for the price, is travel-friendly, and fun to fly. The picture and video quality is great too. I love it!! Highly recommended for beginner and experienced pilots alike.

I have been following Potensic for a few years now, with the Atom 1 and then the Atom 2. They are both great quality, value of money, functionality, image quality, ease of use , and sheer FUN ! With the Atom 2 you get a drone that is as good as some DJI mini's, for a fraction of the price.

C’est drone qui est vraiment bien même si avec la dernière mise à jour je rencontre quelques bug. Je suppose que cela va se corriger avec une autre mise à jour jour . La qualité est bonne et la mise en service est assez facile 👍🏿

Ich habe die Potensic ATOM 2 Drohne jetzt zwei Tage intensiv getestet – bei unterschiedlichen Lichtverhältnissen, Windbedingungen und mit allen Features, die sie bietet – und ich bin ehrlich begeistert. Ich hatte vorher das Vorgängermodell Atom 1 (bzw. 4K) Diese Drohne ist eine echte Überraschung – im positiven Sinne. Positiv: ✅ Perfekt für Anfänger & Profis: Die Drohne ist super einsteigerfreundlich – auspacken, alles ist sicher verstaut in der sehr hochwertigen Tasche, Akku laden, App installieren – und los geht’s. Gleichzeitig bietet sie auch für erfahrene Piloten genug Funktionen, um richtig Spaß zu haben. ✅ Keine Registrierung notwendig: Mit unter 249 Gramm fällt die ATOM 2 in die C0-Kategorie – somit ist kein Drohnenführerschein notwendig, was gerade für Hobbyflieger ein großer Pluspunkt ist. ✅ Fliegt sich wie von selbst: Die Steuerung ist präzise, intuitiv und zuverlässig. Selbst bei leichtem Wind steht die Drohne stabil in der Luft. Die Verbindung zur Fernbedienung bleibt auch bei größerer Entfernung stabil – die 10km Reichweitehabe ich jetzt nicht getestet, da der Flug ja nur im Sichtbereich erlaubt ist. Aber da alles TOP! ✅ 4K HDR & 8K Fotos – Wahnsinnig gute Bildqualität: Was mich wirklich beeindruckt hat, ist die Kamera. Die 3-Achsen-Gimbal-Stabilisierung liefert extrem ruhige Aufnahmen. Die Fotos in 8K sind gestochen scharf, und auch HDR-Videos sehen fantastisch aus. ✅ AI-Funktionen wie „Follow Me“, „QuickShots“ & Nachtmodus: Die intelligenten Flugmodi funktionieren tadellos. Besonders „Follow Me“ war eine Freude – die Drohne bleibt zuverlässig dran, selbst bei flotterem Gehen oder leichtem Joggen. Der AI-Nachtmodus ist erstaunlich gut – ich hatte wirklich nicht erwartet, dass bei so wenig Licht noch so detailreiche Aufnahmen entstehen. Da hat Potensic ein definitiv starkes Feature nachgebessert im Vergleich zum Vorgängermodell ATOM 1. ✅ Fly More Combo = Mega Deal: Ich habe die Fly More Combo gekauft – mit drei Akkus (insgesamt rund 96 Minuten Flugzeit) und einer tollen Tasche. Für den Preis einfach unschlagbar. Wenn man sich vergleichbare Modelle bei DJI anschaut, zahlt man schnell deutlich mehr. ✅ Fernbedienung = Riesen-Upgrade zum Vorgänger: Die neue Fernbedienung liegt perfekt in der Hand, ist wertig verarbeitet und super responsiv. Hier hat Potensic wirklich einen großen Schritt nach vorne gemacht. ✅ Ernsthafte DJI-Konkurrenz im unteren Preissegment: Ich hätte es nicht gedacht, aber Potensic ist in diesem Preisbereich definitiv auf Augenhöhe mit DJI – wenn nicht sogar einen Tick voraus, wenn man das Gesamtpaket betrachtet. Neutral: ➖ Akkulaufzeit realistisch ca. 25 Min. Angegeben sind bis zu 32 Minuten Flugzeit – das erreicht man vermutlich nur bei perfekten Bedingungen ohne Wind. In meinem Test kam ich je nach Flugweise auf ca. 23–26 Minuten pro Akku, was absolut in Ordnung ist. Negativ: ⚠️ Keine Hinderniserkennung: Das ist der einzige Punkt, der vielleicht als Schwäche gesehen werden kann. Aber ganz ehrlich – in dieser Preisklasse gibt’s das bei keiner Drohne, und wenn man weiß, was man tut, ist es kein Problem. Wer auf Nummer sicher gehen will, fliegt halt etwas vorsichtiger. Fazit: Die Potensic ATOM 2 hat mich wirklich positiv überrascht. Top Verarbeitung, super Bildqualität, intelligente Flugmodi und eine tolle Fernbedienung – alles in einem Paket, welches auch erschwinglich ist. Für mich ist sie aktuell die beste Einsteigerdrohne mit Profi-Anspruch unter 500 Euro. Ich freue mich jetzt schon auf die nächsten Flüge – das Ding macht einfach Spaß!

Parfaitement emballé, l’unboxing révèle un produit de qualité, bien assemblé, le « Fly more combo » mérite l’attention. Après charge simultanée des trois batteries, la mise en service prend 5 min. Les firmwares dernière révision (sortis mi- juillet) sont déjà installés. En fonctionnement, un régal : appli et télécommande sont réactives, le paramétrage en français, intuitif. Le pilotage se veut rassurant, même sans assistance et capteurs divers. Par temps calme, le vol stationnaire est bluffant. Superbes photos et vidéos, définition et colorimétrie au rendez-vous. La batterie dure 20 min en mode vidéo, le pack s’avère indispensable. Cerise sur le gâteau, le drone est quasi silencieux à faible altitude, ce qui rend son usage discret. Bref, 2 fois atomisé !

Excelente drone! Interface de fácil entendimento e utilização. As ferramentas de AI são o grande diferencial do drone.
