Review of iWALK Magnetic Portable Charger, 5000mAh Ultra-Slim Power Bank Wireless Charging Battery Pack with LED Power Display, Comfortable Grip Powerbank Compatible with iPhone 16/15/14/13/12 Series, Starlight (Starlight)In my testing it took a little under 3 hrs to charge up to 100%. That seems comparable to my Anker battery packs. Once full, I used it to charge my iPhone 16 Pro from 0% to 80% in 1hr 15 mins via magsafe. That’s fast! In that time the iWalk battery depleted from 100% to 42%. So it seems to get a full charge of an iPhone 16 Pro to 100%, or 1.5 charges if you do safe battery charging to 80%, as I do.🟢 PROS:* works great and charges my iPhone fast!* magsafe charging means no messy cables and it keeps charging in my pocket and while I’m using my phone* perfect slim size and capacity for when I’m on a train or waiting for a delayed plane to take off* very premium look and feel compared to other magsafe batteries* doesn’t overheat like other batteries (it gets warm, not hot)* fantastic digital display with bright clear numbers — much better than 4 or 5 light dots on most other batteries* the starlight color perfectly complements my iPhone 16 pro in desert titanium — see🔴 CONS:* it charges up somewhat slowly (but charges my iPhone very fast)* somewhat pricey ($50 at review time) but it definitely has a premium feel to it* underpowered if you need to get multiple charges for a 2-day trip, for example — no star deduction because this is only a 5KmAh battery, so buy a bigger heavier battery if that’s what you needEarns 4 stars because it’s a great small capacity magsafe battery that’s thin and lightweight and perfect for boosting my iPhone charge on long train or plane rides where public outlets are sketchy or nonexistent.

The media could not be loaded. This slim magsafe-compatible power bank is as big as possible to fit my iPhone 16 Pro, basically covering the bottom of the camera lens enclosure to the low end of the phone entirely. The finish feels great(probably anodized aluminum with powder coat) and color (starlight) looks great. The thickness is less than 1cm or 0.37 inches, and weighs 4oz only. The radius of the chamfered corners is a lot smaller than that of your phone, but it may bot bother others. The design is 5/5.At the bottom, there is one usb-c port with which you can use for recharging the power bank or charge other devices, and push-button to turn on(press once), tickling charging(press and hold for 3 seconds), or enter the normal charging mode (double click). The former also supports pass-thru charing, meaning you can charge your phone while the power bank is attached to the back and being charged. The LED screen shows the current remaining battery level. My phone gets charged very slowly in case I keep using my phone. I don’t know if this is an isolated incident, but I got a message saying the charging will resume once my phone gets back to normal temperature, which means it does get hot while charging. Charging capability: 4/5.In general, this MagSafe power bank is quite satisfactory. I am hopeful that its battery longevity will be comparable to its aesthetic appeal.

Overall, this charger looks sleek, slim, and charges decently. A couple of issues I have are that it doesn't charge fast, nor is it powerful enough to charge an iphone 15 pro fully. Also depending on your iphone case, the battery pack may not sit flushed with the phone. There may be an overhanging lip of the power bank based on the magnet, which makes it feel awkward in your hand and not as secure. The magnet is pretty strong. It doesn't just start charging once attached though, you actually have to power up the unit. It does get pretty warm while charging and using. Takes at least 3-4 hrs to charge up fully. It does allow for trickle/pass through charging. It also drops it's percentage a lot faster than expected while charging and is not as reliable. Overall, don't think it's worth the money for this unit.
