Excellent option, works great as described
This product worked as described and exceeded my expectation. The size is right on, not too big or too small. It might take a while before I can utilise all its capabilities, but for now it is doing everything I wanted it to do. I travel a lot for work and this thing is great. Very easy to setup. I had to calibrate it a little, but very easy to do. So much nicer to check your speed than using the car speedometer. I’d happily recommend this thing to to anyone needing a quick speedometer.

Fulfills my Need for Speed (indication)
Will post pics of speedo in operation later...Looking at my pics, you can see this GPS based speedometer found it's place in a cheap econo-box build. The speedometer in my 1995 Corolla gave up the ghost and literally pooped the bed, sending speedo/odometer parts rattling in the dash. Junk yard parts fare no better. This affordable, no-frills GPS Speedometer is just what the Dr. ordered. Affordability and function are its strong suits. Ease of use is close behind. The package includes the speedometer, a USB A to C cable and 2 small pieces of double sided foam tape. There is a small "flat" molded into the bottom of the speedo housing. Installation is as simple as:1)Place double-sided tape on "flat".2)Jam speedo on the dash.3)USB C to unit and to 12v power outlet.Except that wouldn't work for me. I wanted mount it to the steering column, be able to adjust its height and angle, and be able to remove it easily. I ended up 3d printing a 17mm ball cup, epoxying it to the back of the speedometer, and using a phone mount to place it. Not a simple or elegant solution, but it provides for all my needs. Now for function. It works! Put the car where it can see the sky and Boom! the flashing display changes to a clock when still and a functional speedometer when moving. The digital compass is a nice touch and the accent lights are, well, there if you want them. There are 3 buttons on top for switching the display mode (accent lights and compass features), having a set brightness, as well as switching between KPH and MPH. Mine powered on with the correct time, MPH units, and auto dimming. I haven't needed to touch anything. There are provisions for adjusting/calibrating the speed, but I have not had use for that, it displays actual speed (according to GoogleMaps) within 1 mph. For less than 15 bucks, I'm happy as a clam!If you have a need for an affordable, somewhat portable speed indicator that just works, give this gizmo a try.

Accurate and easy to see
Why did you pick this product vs others?:GPS Speedometer for Car MPH,Digital Speedometer for Car,Three Display Modes,Speeding Alert, Automatic Brightness Adjustment,Large Font Display,USB Connect Plug and Play. My electric bicycle, 2 motorcycles, and Dodge Caravan all have digital speed displays which is now what I am accustomed to seeing. My Jeep Patriot has the old style dial which seems small and hard to read quickly by comparison. I have this display mounted on my dash where it is easy to see without being distracting. I adjusted it to show the same speed as the stock speedometer so I or my wife wouldn't be distracted by different readings. The display is bright but automatically dims when entering a parking garage. I prefer the green display and I didn't want the other type that reflects off the windshield. Both speed and compass displays seem accurate without lag. Having the compass is a nice bonus. Cord is black and long enough to snake to left side of dash, down side molding, below steering wheel, and plug into cigarette lighter cell phone adapter. Adjustment is a bit fiddly. I'm not sure what I did to make it display how I want, but I don't plan on messing with the settings again unless necessary. Inexpensive at $14.39 less 20% sale discount. Also great customer service.

Performs As Expected (can be very useful if needed)
This digital speedometer also shows time and direction, not flawlessly, but very well.(Of course, it's only as accurate/flawless as dictated by GPS satellite positioning allows at any given moment.)As, I hope, you will see from the attached photos and video, it's easy to read day or night. The question I think you should ask yourself is simply.. do I need it?You probably will need it if your vehicle fails accurately to tell you your speed, direction, and the time of day.My 10yo (non-luxury EV) car doesn't show me the direction I'm traveling.Google Maps and Waze (for example) handle this in the main, but I've had occasion (in the ~2.5mo. I've used this) to rely on the directional information.Otherwise, the time and speeds simply agree with what my car is telling me.Again, if any of these measurements elude you when you're driving, you may need this.I used to do some sailing, and it occurs to me that this may be really useful in a small boat (or as a backup in your private plane.. or spaceship)!BTW, please don't make a video with your 'phone while driving by yourself!

Way cheaper than a ticket.
My husband has a an imported car with a km/hr only speedometer. This should help keep him from getting more tickets. lol It was super easy to install. Just a USB connection. Nice bright easy to read display and the bonus of a compass to help him act like he isn't lost. Super cheap but well worth it vs more tickets.
