Yes, it is half the price of the genuine Dyson vacuum head and so I got what I paid for - a cheap imitation. After just over a month it stopped 'gliding' smoothly on the floor and became increasingly harder and harder to push along. After another month this Dyson vacuum head replica was so difficult to push I had to get the real version from Dyson. So, avoid my costly mistake of ending up paying x1.5 the price by buying this and then the genuine Dyson one.

looks just a tad smaller than the original vacuum head but it's really well-built & works great. Has proven to pull dirt & dust off the floor better than the original too & obviously it's a click & go install so that works great. has a slightly different sound than the original but I think it's just due to the newer part. Not loud. Seal is terrific. Super glad my son found this online instead of just going & buying a whole new vacuum!

I've already tried three different aftermarket vacuum heads from various sellers and was eventually able to find the most similar design to the original at a third of the cost. The important part is having the comb teeth on top of the brush roller, which allows the hair to easily separate from the brush. The old original one for my DYSON V10 stopped working, and the first one I bought from Amazon was of poor quality. The second one had no motor and was a waste of money. This is the third one, and I am pleased.
