So worth the purchase! I was surprised that the product wasn't in the original box like the picture but it was still brand new. For the price it was definitely worth it. I shopped around for this bug shot nerf gun for my son and this was actually the cheapest way to buy it. I went ahead and ordered another bug shot gun from zuru Toys because I was really happy with the way that they handled everything. Nothing was damaged and everything was packaged very well. If you buy this as a gift, I advise you to pull off the shipping labels and just wrap it in the box that it was shipped in. When you open the box the product is right in there and not separately packaged in the box like the display picture. I appreciate this bc it helps the enviornment by limiting packaging. It also came with a target poster which was a bonus

So the pull-back feature is too hard for any kids under say age 7, unless they have unusually large hands or are super strong. The bugs come off the launcher at a very quick rate of speed and the darts fly very fast. In multiple days of playing, we only had a few close calls, no one could hit the bugs. I bought 2 of these sets (so we would have 2 guns) and this other thing called an AstroShot target that has little floating balls, or knock-down targets. We wound up using the guns from these bug shooters to shoot at that target mainly, as the guns and darts from these sets are far superior to the gun from the AstroShot. The bugs and launchers are pretty cool and all in all this was a decent purchase, just wish they would make it easier for little guys so the parents are just constantly having to "lock and load" each dart as they shoot.

I wish it came in the box with the pictures for my nephew. Just came in a plain brown box and seemed a bit drab as a birthday gift. I would not have bought this through Amazon if I knew that. I will say it does shoot ridiculously far once we convinced him to open it and set it up lol

Comes inside of a box, not an actual toy product box, just a regular box. It is secured inside of the box though. Just keep in mind if you’re gifting it

It is easy for a 5 year old to load and shoot.The targets fly so fast it is a little challenging for him, but he keeps trying.He wanted this because the cicadias are supposed to be in New England this spring and he wants to shoot his blasters at them so this is his practice!Too funny!

We absolutely prefer xshot over the popular brand! This is affordable and we have tons of fun. We watch YouTube videos of people testing the toys out and their reviews! We love it! My son is 12. I have my guns and he has his and this toy brings us together for hours of fun!!!

We really like this set, the bugs fly high easily with the launcher and the cartridge for the darts works great.

I purchased this toy for my 6 year old grandson. The trigger is too hard for me to shoot the gun, much less he wasn't able. The toy was cheap made. After the first launch the propeller broke. This toy is what I expected. Waste of money.

My kids love this gun. Shoots quick and accurate. The flying targets are fun! Gives them a challenge! Great package for the price!
