Listen, I was skeptical. Chicken? Waffles? In a chip?! It sounded like some kind of snack sorcery. But one bite in, and I realized: this is the crunchy, protein-packed miracle I’ve been waiting for. First of all, the flavor? Spot on. It’s like someone took Sunday brunch, gave it a crispy upgrade, and made it socially acceptable to eat with your hands. The balance of sweet maple and savory chicken is so good, I half expected a tiny waiter to pop out of the bag and offer me coffee. And let’s talk texture. These aren’t flimsy, weak little chips. They’ve got crunch—real, satisfying crunch. The kind that makes you feel like you’re making bold life choices. Plus, with all that protein, I can totally convince myself I’m making a healthy decision (even though I just ate the whole bag in one sitting). Final verdict? Delicious. Crunchy. Slightly life-changing. If you love snacking but also want to feel like a responsible adult making protein-forward choices, grab a bag. Or five. I won’t judge.

If you’re looking for a healthier alternative to potato chip snacks, then look no further. These chips tastes fantastic, especially if you’re a fan of salt and vinegar, the flavor definitely HITS, and has a good amount of protein per serving if you’re trying to hit those protein goals (10 grams of protein per serving💪). These chips got that perfect crunchy texture of a regular chip, if not better in my opinion. I do wish I get a few more bags for the price I’m paying, but overall, these chips are worth the money if you’re looking for a healthier, protein packed snack.

Okay so in trying to lead a healthier lifestyle and looking for healthy alternatives to common snacks I thought trying the Wilde protein chips would be a step in the right direction. I had never tried these before and the comments are pretty good one of them even said the chicken and waffles were pretty good. Just know if it's your first time eating these pricey treats for the first go, one, you may have too many if you don't like them, two you may not like them and three I didn't like them. To me they were too gritty like the immediate taste I imagine would be similar to sawdust... the chip is very light and crunchy you get a hint of sweetness in the beginning but it goes nowhere after the taste mixes with the gritty ground chicken bits hits you. Honestly, there is more pleasure in buying salt-free pork rinds for this type of snacking. If you have ever eaten someone's dry chicken that is what your hit with in the end trying to chew down the rehydrated bits in your mouth that even an hour later little chicken pieces are lingering in your mouth. your other better bet is just to eat a crunchy leafy green vegetable it's better for you and tastes better too. I don't think I will be able to finish these nor do I want to My final words are if these are your first go... do not buy them on amazon... try to see if you can find these types of chips at sprouts or whole foods market. so then you can just buy one pack and be done with it if you don't like it. there is definitely a buyer beware on taste when it comes to these snacks... yuck.

While not as good as the jalapeno flavor, I consider these to be the second best overall flavor. Everyone that tried them also felt the same, but there were a few critiques. First off, all of the various flavors have one thing in common - they have a powdery texture which I suspect has something to do with the fact that these are not veggie based, so the seasoning reacts differently, but who knows. Secondly, the bag is so large, but by the time the chips have been packed and shipped they are so broken down that you may as well be eating crumbs - seriously, the bad is less than 1/3rd full. My daughter tasted them and immediately stated that while it wasn't bad, the maple sugar was too intense and that a cinnamon version would probably be much better. I can see that, but sort of liked the maple too, so just an idea for another flavor. Lastly, I've found that combining the various flavors in different ways (sorta like Pringles) can have very interesting results as well - try it.

I tried these chips in an airport and went right back to the same store and bought more before my flight. I’ve never seen them in Canada before. I was able to buy some here on Amazon and get them shipped to a box and then pick them up when I crossed the border. The salt and vinegar are my favorite!!!!!! I’ve been keto for 6 years and tried many chip alternatives.. and nothing compares to the texture, crunch and flavor. I tried some of the other flavors. I liked the pink salt and the Nashville hot. Didn’t like the buffalo. LOVED the salt & vinegar! I can now get some online in Canada but this is a better price. I was excited to see them in Fred Meyer on my last visit. So happy I have options that taste amazing !! Thank you !!!
