I usually have all things Apple. Yeah, I'm THAT guy. M4 MacBook Pro, M3 iMac mini, iPhones, and of course, my iWatch. But, I've always felt the watch was MISSING something. Or some THINGS. On a whim, I decided to try this Amazefit Balance 2 smartwatch. Now that I'm using it, do I think it's better than Apple's iWatch? Let's see if it checks the boxes. It's features are more robust, it's ease of use is nothing short of INSANE, it's capabilites as a smartwatch are LEAGUES above my iWatch. Also, I get all of the vast number of alerts, texts, and call capabilities I've become used to on my iPhone, and MORE. Larger, brighter and better quality Screen? MAJOR CHECK. Longer battery life? MEGA-CHECK to the tune of WEEKS. Better UI, options and tons of VERY cool watch faces? UBER-CHECK to the moon. Superior medical monitoring and sports and workout tracking and options? MASTER CHECK. Interconnectivity with my iPhone? BEAUTIMUS CHECK. AI connection? ChatGPT is IN the watch via the app. So, MENTAL CHECK. Bluetooth phone calls and text capabilities with my iPhone? SYSTEM CHECK. And cost? You could buy TWO of these for the cost of an iWatch, so PRICE CHECK. Look, I rarely write reviews, not have I ever received requests or compensation for same, nor would I want that. This is a loyal Apple fan telling Apple (leans is, and quietly says) ... "Uh...guys? Be AFRAID. THIS is what your watch should be doing for me." Think I'm just on a rant? I'm giving my iWatch away. Yeah, I'm doing it. I'm THAT guy. My iWatch had me for a while, but THIS watch? Miles beyond. If you are even SLIGHTLY considering this watch, take it from a very loyal Apple user and fanboy (Looks both ways and whispers) "Buy this beast, and get ready to have your techno world ROCKED." It really is that incredible.Update: Weeks later, this watch is MUCH better than my above review. I STRONGLY recommend this watch. SO glad I found it. Do yourself a HUGE favor and get this watch. It's a MAJOR game changer.

I’ve been using my new Amazfit watch for a little while now, and I have to say, I love it. It checks every box I was hoping for. The battery life is insane (seriously, I keep forgetting the last time I charged it), the interface is clean and intuitive, and it syncs quickly with my phone without hiccups.The health tracking features are spot on. Heart rate, sleep, steps. Everything feels accurate and easy to monitor. I also really like the workout modes. It doesn’t just throw data at you; it actually feels useful. The screen is crisp and bright, even in sunlight, and the build quality is way better than I expected for the price. Lightweight, comfortable, and it does not look like a cheap plastic toy. It actually looks sharp.I’ve tried a bunch of fitness watches in the past, and this is easily the best experience I’ve had. Amazfit nailed it. If you're on the fence about it, just get it. It is genuinely a great watch.

I've used a ton of sports watches and I think this is a steal at the price point. Been using it for a couple weeks now and my impressions are mostly positive. It looks good. It's lightweight. It seems to do great tracking my runs. The screen is bright. The battery is solid. I love the maps and the golf features.That said, it's not perfect. You almost have to turn the display to always on because the raise to wake is so inconsistent. You have to raise your arm at the right angle to work. I'd say it only works about half the time for me. Obviously, turning the display to always on affects your battery life. I also find some of the metrics and data wonky. It seems to tell me I got a decent night of sleep no matter what. It also tells me I need ridiculous recovery times after routine runs. That said, I found similar issues with certain metrics with Garmin and other watch makers and I don't know if it's any worse.Update: I stand by everything in my original review and I still think it's a steal at the price point. However, I did return it solely because of the raise to wake issue. It was bothering me. Probably a "me problem."

The power button on my Samsung Galaxy watch stopped working and I was in dire need of a watch. It had only been a few days, but I felt lost. Trying to save a few bucks and get away from the norm I started watching video after video about Bluetooth watches and the Amzfit Balance 2 caught my eye. I'll admit - after watching and reading about it I was still a little skeptical, but this watch is amazing. After a week and a half, I am absolutely blown away. I just charged it for the 1st time (9 days later) and it was at 40% battery life. After a quick 15-minute charge - 100%. There isn't much negative to say about the Balance 2. The build is excellent. The screen quality is bright and crystal clear. I love the band - which some said feels cheap. Literally, the only thing I don't do with the watch is shower. It's been in the pool, the ocean and is on my wrist for 23 hours and 45 minutes out of the day. The Zepp app is awesome and user friendly. The watch face selection is unbelievable (hundreds, maybe thousands available - free and pay). You can make and receive calls, send and receive text messages, track you health/sleep, see the local weather, read emails, get any notification your phone will get and so much more. I can not believe I am saying this, but this watch is far better than any Samsung watch I have ever owned and the top brands should be worried. If you're having second thought about this watch -DON'T - order it and get it on your wrist!!
