Trim Like a Pro! ✂️
The Edgitpro string trimmer attachment is specifically designed for Echo SRM trimmers without the high torque head. Made from high-grade, durable plastic polymer, it replaces the existing trimmer line shield while utilizing the original trimmer head for enhanced cutting performance.

Great addition
I was skeptical about this however the good reviews gave me the warm and fuzzies so I purchased it about 2 months ago. I've used the whole summer season now and have to say IT'S FREAKING AWESOME! Seriously it's wonderful in several ways. It does great straight lines for edging, it does beds and culverts with absolute precision. Literally it makes a novice a professional almost immediately. It really helps on my St Augustine grass to trim a nice flat area without going to low (which is death for that type of grass- can't go too short!).I think most importantly it adds a level of safety by acting as a shield to keep flying grass and rocks down and away from hitting your ankles and windows. It's worth it if you're serious. You can also use your trimmer like normal! This is not made specifically clear however it's no need to have another string trimmer. This only ADDS trip the utility of your existing trimmer. I watched a YouTube video to see how it goes on my echo 225 trimmer and it was pretty easy. I had to order powder graphite as it didn't come with any, it was not much$$ and will last many years. All in all I'm very serious about my lawn care and this certainly helped bring it up a notch!

Excellent attachment
I run a lawncare business and this is the best attachment I've used so far. It makes edging really nice and quick once the edge has been established with a regular edger. This is not ideal for creating a new edge if it's been a while or an edge was never created, but once an edge has been done with a blade edger , then this can maintain it " better " than the standard blade edger. It takes a couple of times to get good at using this and I will buy another one for my second weed trimmer.

This is a great attachment to install on the string trimmer.
This adapter not only helps you cut a straight edge with less effort and less fatigue but also helps to bevel edges of the lawn that are without a concrete border. I have found it throws out less debris than the original shield did. It works great to position it and then just drag it as you move along the border. The adapter rolls effortlessly and reduces uneven edging. Installation was easy. Just find the correct holes, line up the attachment and put in the new bolts.

Works just as good as an edger but costs much less.
I've always seen professional landscaping employees using this product, and they make it look easy.I have centipede grass, which can get very thick, and I used to have an edger to take care of it. This attachment makes my trimmer work like an edger, and takes the same amount of time.Putting the attachment on was pretty easy, I think the hardest thing was to get used to using my trimmer with my left hand on the throttle, and use my right hand to guide it. This took me a few minutes to get used to it, I'm sure with more time I'll be as efficient as those professional landscapers. The last time I edged my driveway was about two months ago, so the centipede was overgrown by 2-3 inches. I figured this was a good test. Like I said, it took me some time to get used to using this but it worked great. I had a good clean edge and it was actually straight. I only had to make two passes to get my driveway edged, which would be about the same time as using my old edger. This product is excellent and I'm going to recommend this to a few of my friends.UPDATE: 8/1/2015 - It's been almost 3 years with this product and it is still working just great! I am now used to using this, it only took me a few times to get used to using with my left hand on the throttle, and use my right hand to guide it.I still give it 5 stars.

Time saver!!!
I have had a lawn service for years. I run it solo. The Edgeit Pro has been part of my equipment for over 3 years now. It takes half the time to trim a yard (especially once your lines are established). I have suggested the guide to several friends who have purchased it --and love it. I was asked by a fellow lawn service provider to purchase one for them after I let them try my trimmer. I was surprised to see no "newer" reviews, so I thought I'd leave one. My current Edgit Pro is at least 3 years old and still going strong. Never had a problem, no cracks or breaks. I highly recommend this tool to anyone who manicures their yard -- especially, if you manicure a lot of yards!!!

Best Edging I Have Ever Seen
Been mowing for a long, long time. This attachment eases the trimming and edging...does a great job. the vertical nearly looks like a blade edger. And the trimming is significantly uniform. I find with edging, holding the head behind you gives a better looking line.

A slick tool - added comments
I have a corner lot and have used a straight shaft string trimmer as an edger for years but trying to cut a good edge while supporting the head of the trimmer became harder and harder on my back. I looked at lawn edgers and they are expensive and add another machine to the shed. The professional landscapers at the building where I work all use a disk like this one to do the edging and it looked easy and fast to get a good result. Had to do some looking, though, to find this. No one carried it and it took some digging to find it even on Amazon. Now that I have it I could not be more pleased. It bolted right on to my Echo trimmer with no hassle in 10 minutes and the first time I used it I got the best edging job I've ever had with half the effort and no strain on my back. And while $60 seems a bit steep for a disk, it is well made and it sure beats $200-$400 for an edger. Give it a try.P.S.: I have had the disk edger for a year now and I still love it but I have to add a safety caveat. Installation requires removal of the shroud on the string trimmer head that blocks debris flying up off the strings. When you use this edger keep your head behind the plane of the disk! And just to be sure, wear glasses or safety goggles and expect to get stung once in a while.
