Design is good enough but construction is flimsy
This was my first vest, so I wasn't quite sure what to expect. It's got several qualities: it's reasonably comfortable to wear, even when fully loaded with a 1.5l bladder (not included..) and the two soft flask in the front - that's enough water for a 3 hours run in hot weather. The lack of a magnetic system for the bladder tube wasn't an issue for me since I'm tucking it under the bottom from strap, where it's not bothering me at all. It's really a vest and not a backpack: don't expect to pack much in the back if you use the water bladder, but you can store sunglassses, a shell and some cereal bars in the back pocket. The side pockets are quite convenient for bars or gel (or more, see below). The mesh is really nice and feels good even in hot weather - much more so than comparable packs I've used in the past. The front cords allow for efficient adjustment depending on the load: I'll tighten them a bit when the water bladder and bottles are less full, and that works fine. Now to the bad part:- about that back pocket: things may fall from it so careful how you store stuff. Plus, if you load it to capacity, you'll have to take everything off when you refill the bladder: no way to put a full badder back in if there's stuff in there; plus, the bladder's big opening design makes it hard to refill without taking it fully off.- the phone pocket on the left shoulder strap is horrible: if you carry anything more than a clamshell from the 90s, it's going to push against your collarbone in a very unpleasing manner. I'm not using that pocket anymore, storing a packet of tissues there instead - phone stays in one of the side pockets, which is fine is you're a bit careful when you put it back in.- the two small pockets on the right shoulder strap are weird: you can't fit anything in the top one; the bottom one can hold a set of car keys, but just barely. When racing I can stuff a small hydraflask soft cup there, but that takes some doing... Why not have just one reasonably sized pocket...?- the MAIN thing: after three month of use, the vest is virtually falling apart. OK, that included some trail running, including some encounter with bushes, but nothing more than what you'd be expected to do with such a vest... Seams are getting undone at three or four different locations, and repairing them is going to take me hours. So basically I'm guessing CamelBak is banking on its reputation and doesn't pay much attention to quality anymore. A bit of a disappointment.

Best way to carry a lot of fluid for running
Very comfortable. Found I preferred to use a bladder only in the back or a bladder along with the bottles in the front. With just the bottles, the vest felt too heavy in the front. Plenty of room for gels, gloves, etc. Very happy with the purchase but definitely would not pay full price.

Excellent well worth the purchase
I’ve used it for all of my long runs since getting it and it’s worked beautifully. My only issue is the left bottle is hard to put back into place while running but I’m positive it’s because I’m right handed. Anyway excellent pack! Definitely worth the money!

Very good value for the money
Very nice vest. I bought it for running, it is light weight and holds you perfectly so it doesn't move as you rrun.it comes without bladder but with two 500 ml flasks.

light, comfortable
I bought this UltraPro vest for running, to replace a belt with bottles, and I'm happy I did. Much less bounce and no effect on my stride the way that the belt had. The vest itself is super light, and sits comfortably on my shoulders with no ride-up. My own two complaints are (a) the bottles themselves do not slide easily in and out of the holders, so actually drinking from them is not as smooth as grabbing a bottle from the belt and sliding it back in (and I'm a little concerned that the hard seam of the flexible bottle will cut the pocket from the inside, although this hasn't happened so far) and (b) the material is not odor-free (and given that I soak through it when it's hot out, which of course is when I need the hydration, I have to wash it every time I use it). But I will happily continue to use the vest on long-slow-distance days.

Great Product
It's a great product with plenty of space for things you might need for a long run. If you want a reservoir the 1.5lite one fits in the back and the tube slots through the fabric in order to stay in place nicely.Personally I love this style of gydration vest with the full fabric sections around the sides as I find them much more comfortable compared to those with straps. My only criticism is that I feel that it's larger than I expected and realistically I should have bought a small in order to know that it would stay in place comfortably for the duration of my runs. I find that I tighten the chest straps quite tight and then once the reservoir has been emptied slightly (or if I'm not using a reservoir) the pack slips around and rubs on my neck.Otherwise, great product and very comfortable with plenty of space for phone/food/energy gels and plenty of liquids!

This vest is falling apart already. The elastic for the front bottle came away so I’ve had to re-sew it back on. The loop for the bladder broke so I’m now using strong. This product just isn’t strong enough for the weight of the water, so what’s the point?!
