Very comfortable

They are decent socks, but nothing special. They made indentations in my calves just like normal socks. They do not live up to their name “wide open.”

I like the Sox because I have a wide foot and these won’t cramp my feet.

I bought these for my husband, a former rugby player who has large feet/ankles/legs. He said they were too tight. I tried them on, and while they’re too long in the foot for me to wear they felt a little snug on my slim ankles. I don’t understand how these can be for people with wide ankles?

Good socks. The wide feet marketing is not persuasive. I don’t find them more comfortable than my usual socks.

Don't waste your money. Socks fell apart after the first wearing...

These are probably my favorite socks. I think they are wider all the way around than normal socks. And the thickness is just right for comfort but not overly warm. The key to keeping them in good shape and fit is washing them inside out and air drying. If you put in the dryer they shrink a lot. But you can always get them back to original size if you have a steamer since they’re wool.

Despite the claims, these socks were not wide enough to accommodate my husband's size 15 club foot. Surprisingly, Dickie's did fit, and were waaaay cheaper.
