its a spanner, it works well enough, there is no slop in the open end and this is solid enough for pounding with a hammer to help break some bolts loose, also is the ideal size for a wrench torque adapter/extension.

Bought this as a dedicated spanner to keep next to my new table saw. I thought it would be 'cheap 'n' cheerful at just over £3.40, but it's a lot better than I expected. Good quality and sturdy design. Will be buying more of these if I need different sizes in the future.
