Great value, works super well and would recommend for anyone repairing any electronics
Lasts a long time after fully drying. Been using this brand for a while and all the stuff I've used it on are still going strong. Super easy to use, thickness is low but you are able to apply more than 1 layer to increase thickness really easily. This stuff does smell (not a bad smell but ut is strong) so I'd recommend using outside or in a well ventilated area. Great price for it!! It is hard to remove once fully cured but that is a good upside to it

Great stuff! My go-to over tape or heat shrink
Stumbled upon this stuff while surfing Amazon and had to give it a try. Its works amazing! I feel like it'll get connectors weatherproof way better than heat shrink.

Liquid electrical tape with applicator brush cap black.
This product works really well for sealing and insulating electrical connections—easy to apply and dries quickly with a durable finish. The built-in brush makes application neat and precise. The only downside is that the lid doesn’t seal tightly. Otherwise, very satisfied with the performance!

Works as advertised; “Gloppy”; Tips for Using
I bought this because I had several cords, ranging from ipad charging cables to the cord for my electric razor to the cord on the vacuum cleaner, whose insulation had become brittle and was cracked and/or missing. While not visually restoring the insulation to a “like new” condition, it does do a great job repairing the insulation and, in my opinion, looks and works better than electrical tape, especially if additional build up would interfere with using something like a cord clip/hook on an appliance. While it dries or sets fairly quickly (you can safely apply additional coats, if needed, after ~5-10 minutes, the product is somewhat “gloppy” and it will run or drip before it dries sufficiently that it won’t. When completely dry, it does seem to be fairly flexible.Based on my experience, I would suggest the following:- Suspend the cord/cable horizontally and then watch for and remove any drips until it sets. If the repair is being made near the plug/connector, hanging the cord vertically could cause the product to pool excessively at the plug.- Put plastic or paper below the cord to protect the floor or work surface from any drips from the brush or the cord.- If using the brush attached to the lid, clean the product off the stem first so that you don’t have more product than you want running down the stem and onto the brush.- Be sure to clean any material off the threads of the can and the can lid before closing the can.- Instead of using the brush attached to the lid, consider using a separate brush, like a small acid brush, and wiping any excess on that brush off on an old soup can instead of the threaded edge of the product’s can.Overall, this product worked great for my applications and exceeded my expectations.

This Stuff Works on Car and Tractor Wiring
I used this to repair 12 volt wiring. Sections of insulation had been chewed off by varmints. It worked well and was easy to use.I painted several coats on the individual wires and let them dry overnight. Then I tape wrapped the wires together and painted several coats over the tape to hopefully slow down the chewing.

I really like this product but the cap is not air tight and thus less usable product
For what I use this for it's a 4 to 5 star product. The only similar product I've found is rated for a lower maximum temperature. That said I'm never able to use a little more than half of it before it dries enough in the bottle to become unusable. The cap simply does not seal well enough and it's very apparent by the strong odor.I've purchased this 4 times. The first bottle I didn't do anything extraordinary to seal it other than making certain the cap was secured after each use. I suspect I used 25% of the bottle. After that I saved the packing and, after each use, I used heavy duty clear plastic tape to seal it, completely around the perimeter, in the original package. That extended the usable life of the product but I still couldn't use 50% of the product before it became too viscous to apply.I finally found plastic pickle relish jar with a rubber seal. The package fits inside the plastic jar but with of course some air around it. That has allowed me to use about 50 to 60% of it and the additional plastic bottle perfectly seals the smell. I'm now looking for an inexpensive, air tight container, opaque (in case UV may impact life) to transfer the contents into.It is relatively thin but I normally use it under heat shrink without adhesive on the shrink wrap itself (adhesive lined shrink wrap is often low temperature and difficult to find in a long roll and I use a lot of heat shrink). It's extremely frustrating because I love the product but I hate paying for 2 to 4 times what I can use and I hate filling a landfill with the product I'm unable to use.
