Farberware Professional Cookie Scoop (Stainless Steel)

I like the size of balls it makes. It made making cookies easy!

I ordered 2 and both of them popped out of the gears within 5 minutes of opening. Not worth the low price tag.

I’ve always made cookies with my battered old teaspoon but my wife suggested I try a cookie scoop. I found it very easy to use and finally my cookies are a consistent size! My cookies are always in demand around the holidays !

This works perfectly for scooping out same size cookies.

Nice, quality scoop. I am happy with the quality of the product but the scoop is a little bigger than I thought. It makes bigger than average cookies. I was looking to replace one that I had and thought this was the same but it was bigger. It is a nice quality scoop if you are looking to make large cookies.

Not a good purchase; I used it to scoop cookie dough and it didn't hold up.

My wife had two cookie scoops and she wanted one sized right between the two. Why? I don't know.....I searched for an OXO like she has, but they didn't offer one in the required size. Low and behold, Farberware listed the perfect size and as I looked at the photo, I noticed that it was almost identical in design to the OXO. I put them side by side and except for a bit of plastic on the handles being different, they WERE identical. In any event, good quality and fast shipping! As they say, "Happy Wife, Happy Life"

First time I used this scoop it worked like a charm. Second time the entire mechanism seized up and stuck in place and could only be reset by forcing it apart with some effort. I'm fairly sure that this isn't how it's expected to work. I know that products can sometimes malfunction and that this example of Farberware should not be considered representative of the entire line. That in mind;l it is VERY disappointing to say the least and I will not look to Farberware for further purchases.
