I'm actually mad nobody told me about these sooner. They look huge right out of the packet but are very easy to use and virtually undetectable once they're in. No mess, no fuss, just good period sex. If my partner noticed anything he didn't say so. I'll definitely buy these again.

Oh my god these things are amazing! Tried them twice now for period sex. They do the job! No blood and had a real good sesh. A little tricky to get out but once you get your head around that you will never look back

I was a bit confused as the box I got showed a different coloured and shaped beppy- but I figured it was a redesign and should just work the same. I've never used something like this before but I find tampons and pads way too uncomfortable. Once this was in I couldn't feel it was there. Insertion was super easy, I didn't have any leaks.. but removing is another story- it's probably down to practice and of course anatomy- it was a real struggle for me using two fingers to retrieve it and it's basically impossible with just one, I managed it in the end by baring down and managing to pinch the sponge with my index and thumb. It says you can use a douche if you really struggle but I am against douching because of the risks. I don't know if it's just my technique but I would highly suggest removing it in the shower or on the toilet as it was heavily leaking as I was pulling it out, which wasn't pleasant on my hand.. Sorry to be graphic but us ladies all share the struggle! I rate 4 stars because of the messy, fiddly removal but as I say this may just take practice. Otherwise, it felt much more comfortable than other menstrual products I've used, absorbs very well, doesn't feel rough (I find some tampons rough on insertion and removal??), and it's great reassurance if you're feeling amorous with your partner~
