Bushnell Pro 1M Slope Edition Laser Rangefinder

AMAZON KNOWINGLY selling faulty merchandise!I purchased this under a lightning deal. After receiving my item I went to register and noticed something not right.I called Bushnell and they showed me where my unit was mfr in 2014. This is BEFORE the motherboards were fixed (July 2015), as stated in the first line of the product description.They informed me to return to Amazon and call back if any issues.After a 40+ minute conversation with Amazon where I clearly stated I just wanted an exchange in the product for the new item, they agreed (she even placing notes in my order). However, after receiving my e-mail with return shipping label I read the details and Amazon was issuing me a credit for the unit and I had to re-purchase the item off lightning price at over $100 more. Exactly what I told them I did not want done.Called back Bushnell and had a rude CS rep. Called back and got his boss. He was very pleasant and professional like the first rep. I had to pay for shipping but I sent back the unit and they provided me a new one without the faulty board. (For the record, there was a design error, they informed me, where if buttons were pushed in certain sequence it would short circuit the motherboard permanently). I am now happy with product itself.Amazon knowingly (as listed in product description) sold old units with a mfr defect at a reduced cost without informing the consumer they were buying old product. Amazon would not provide new unit at advertised price and forced a re-purchase to correct situation through them. I incurred ADDITIONAL expense shipping unit to Bushnell and all the time spent correcting the bad product and policy.This is how Amazon treats Prime (soon to be former) members. Buyer beware!

I bought this unit for hunting and for use at the range. I could not be happier with it! The range readings are almost instant. Very precise aiming reticle and it tells you when you're locked on to a foreground target rather than a background object. The angular adjustment information is nice too although a tree stand bow hunter may need a larger adjustment range. This unit is limited to +/- 20 degrees.With a capability of ranging from 5 yards out to a mile or more, it does everything I could possibly need at a price that doesn't "break the bank". The electronics have been upgraded so the problems earlier posters warned of should be fixed as of now. Only time and more use will tell. But the warranty is two years from Bushnell so I'm not worried in the least.

I am a weekend golfer and welcome all of the help I can get. It's easy to use, takes the guess work out of perceived distance measurements. What I like most about it is the angle correction factor it provides when the green is either higher or lower than where the ball lies or from where you tee off (par 3 type shots). Often my golf buddies will ask questions like "how far do you think it is to tat tree on the left side of that standing water by the tree. I shoot the distance, provide them with the distance and I would hear ... let me get another club... I would rather be short then in that mess. There is one word of caution... no matter how accurate it is you still have to make the shot and it will not straighten out a slice.... but it can tell you how far the ball went before you lost it in the woods. I really love it.

The Pro 1M Slope does what it say it does, but I tend to find it a little awkward at times. I like the more compact models Bushnell makes like the Tour X but didn't want to pay those prices. The slope on this works well but I haven't come across many times where it's made me change clubs up or down to accommodate elevation changes.

I like the bigger magnification of this unit. This one doesn't have the jolt technology and I seriously did not think I would miss it but after being used to it from the V3 model that I also own, it makes a big difference. Feels more unsteady for some reason when i don't feel the jolt to confirm I have acquired the target. Other than that, it works fine.

Works exactly as advertised. I have used it over 8 -10 rounds without a hitch. I play with someone that has a different model Bushnell and the distances are always within one yard. It can be hard to hold steady for distances over 200 yards. The slope adjustment to the distance seems to be right on the money. I am very satisfied.

Bushnell's customer service is some of the worst I've ever experienced but having said that, this is a first class piece of equipment. Just don't ever send it back to the company for repairs. You might as well toss it out and get a new one for all the help you get from Bushnell.

Great price and great unit! It works well and after two months use, I continue to be very satisfied with the product. My friends who have other laser range finders compared this model to theirs and were very impressed. The slope feature is very nice, since many times you can't tell if your target is above or below you.
